Yes, I took a couple good gold box pics recently. I pasted them into Microsoft Word because it was already open. Later I followed FBI's instructions in the FAQ. I pasted them into paint, but the colors and clarity were distorted. What should I do? I also tried Microsoft picture manager and got a clear but small image, which probably isn't best.

Hmm, when I've done what you've said, they have turned out fine. Try turning the word doc into a PDF, and then screenshotting the pics and then pasting into paint, crop the bits you don't want and then save it.

I'm seeing a lot of entries with one tank in and no fighting. While they don't break the rules, they also have no chance of winning.

Hi everyone.. I just wanted to make sure of something, a lot of the entries made are of .png type. So I wanted to know how flexible you guys are on this .jpeg rule if any, if any other file format will result in automatic disqualification or if you'd be willing to accept .png's , which is kind of the new standard around these days. thanks

 

And my 2nd question would be to whoever is making the new FAQ , will there be a library of how various Gold Boxes looked in the past including those special occasion's gold boxes ... if not well i think i just submitted an idea that would be a good thing to annex to the coming FAQ as a reference. and for this if it ever happens I'd love to be able to submit this picture

(btw whoever designed those 200 Gold Boxes , i wanted to say hats off, the design, the texture everything is wonderfully detailed - you got a damn good arts'man working for tankionline)

Thanks Hamster and FBI .... unfortunately my gold catching portfolio is quite short, so i don't have pics of haloween or even football world cup gold boxes and all those various kinds from before,, but am sure if you make a contest for them and give away some crystals for the winners you'll get plenty of good pics of these good old relics ;)

Wow, a lot of the entries today with only 1 tank in the picture. It's impossible to have a fight with one person. These entries WILL NOT win. And one of the criteria for judging is the view of the GB, having a vague outline up in the air is not a good view.

Does mine qualify according to your criteria ?? I mean I know I got good visibility for the gold box, but what about the fighting part? Are the blue twins plasma and the ricochet guy shooting at me and the gold enough to fit the criteria ?

no, i dont think so as its not a proper fight as you need more tanks battling for the gold box
