It's pretty good the first few days, than it's starting to fail... eventually it will not save recordings anymore.

I have Hypercam 3 now... demo versions but they are really good.

I've not tried bandicam. I have fraps. Things that can help with lag.

c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C start /affinity 7 c:\fraps\fraps.exe

That line is my shortcut to my fraps recording software. I have a quad core pc and this makes fraps use just two processors. Movies record to a 2nd drive. Maybe you can modify for bandicam.

Try Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 Screen Capture.  It has adjustable quality, and the ability to record video with sound. :)
