The OP is clearly hurt and upset by this stuff. To me, at best its nasty, immature "mob mentality" hiding behind anonymous user names. Good, old fashioned bullying. I'm all in favour of the name-and-shame approach, and I disagree that its pointless. Support the bullied, not the bullies!

Yes, I agree with KiwiZaphod, this is not so useless, there should be a stop to this. Tanki to me should not only be a free game, but a swear free game. If they do it, they should certainly be banned. However, 5556632, what I do when this stuff happens is I'll give it to PC-JACK, he's kind and will ban the offenders.

I do understand and it's not cool that this happens but topics don't need to be made about it. He should contact a mod. Not to mention he will one day come across a place on the internet with no moderators (like Facebook) and he will have to deal with stuff like that himself or just let it roll of his back instead of complaining about it. I get insulted every day but instead of making topics about it I just ignore it. I've only reported the rude remarks once. The whole world isn't rainbows and sunshine. Just remember that people on the internet don't know who you actually are. So if someone calls you fat or ugly what would they know? They just fire off insults in order to make you feel weak and bad about yourself despite it being true or not.

^ Well put, lizerdgirl...Not to change the subject, but During one game a while back; a Generalissimo was insulting me. It got to the point where he/she was insulting my reason for running an Isida, that I was a child that didn't know how to shoot, too chicken for anything but an Isida. It finally came to an end when he/she typed into the battle chat, "watch out monkeybum here I come let me show you how it's done". The game was silence. So observing my quarry from the rooftop, leaving his/her base; I deduced that I would have enough time to let him/her pass by the corner of the building, leap from the roof, and sneak up from behind and terminate..."Wooooooooooooooo. BOOM!!!" Then I typed In the battle chat "You mean, like that?"...Most of my teammates typed in "lol". After our little encounter, his/her battle chatter, ceased...Don't let it get to you! And mod's are here for a purpose.

I like what you preach and cutting them off is a good idea, better than making topics. Bullies feed off of the fact that they know they have been able to make you feel bad and by posting topics about it only fuels their fire. Don't give them that power by letting them know that they've bothered you. Same goes for real life. If you ignore what they say and believe it's not true then you haven't let them win. :)

In my opinion the reason this should be taken down or closed or just not have been made in the first place is if because he shows that he is hurt by bullies then he is letting the bullies win by showing them that they have upset him.

The world is filled with terrible people. People who are Lost and rebellious to common society. The one idea I find true and effective is Tolerance. We have to tolerate such behaviour to empower ourselves and strengthen our mettle. Yes, as humans we can only tolerate so much that we have to Defend ourselves and strike back.

In situations like these, We should not ignore them or push them aside. Confront them. We should confront the offenders and create an understanding with the offender.

Understand where they are coming from, relate to their issues. Sometimes we forget that behind that nickname, there is a Human Being. Someone who has feelings and the ability to comply with; and sympathise.

We shouldn't always create a barrier between each other. We are all the same no matter the obvious differences. The point is, We can't ignore the problems. We have to dissolve them, learn them and most of all, Change them into something Better.
