I pacify the grumpy old lady, and discover that she is merely a projection, a hologram. I discover the source and destroy it with my bare hands (such weak security, park, wow), leading the actual voice to reveal that I passed the test, and it lets me go.

 

PUM is then attacked with the same attack (i.e locked in secure room with old lady), but its no longer a projection :p
