Shame on English CyberSports

Almost 20 days into summer and absolutely no activity from the CyberSports. Last year we had the world cup, which was very successful. It is amazing, how even after organizing 2 CSL's and a number of other events, CyberSports has come up with absolutely nothing for the summers. On the other hand, German cybersports has gone ahead in terms of prizes offered. It just baffles me that Germans have been offered Acid paint as a prize for their upcoming tournament and we, inspite of having a well established, although a rather unstable cybersports and much better teams and clans, barely have any tournaments. Bravo! to whoever is incharge of this. We will reach great heights with this speed in maybe a 100 years.

Yea I agree. The English server is the 2nd most popular server with many players and clans yet we barely have any tournaments or official clan fights. No one is saying that German's shouldn't have their tournament but we're saying that the English one should since it has more players than the German. Someone is slacking off who is in charge of the English tournaments. :rolleyes:

I thought they had a new community manager for now. Of course we feel bad about Bruce, but this is a business. When one gets sick and not able to perform their duty, they hire a temporary person to do that job while that person is away. And I do hope Bruce gets better soon.

This still would have slowed things down a little, it's not like Bruce's illness had been planned. That is exactly what has happened - Semyon and co. have taken over for the time being :)

 

As Lham said, there will be things on their way in terms of cybersport. Do you really think those DJs will get away with doing nothing? It'd be good if that was true, I'd apply straight away :lol:

Please show me one post where Germans were insulted... Except after you made your post.. Some people are just frustrated that the German server with less people and clans has a tournament planned out and the English one with more members and clans doesn't. That's all. But since it's announced that English will have one soon, this topic has pretty much gone off-topic. Mod should close it.

I suggest you all to stop complaining about Cybersport. Our Community Manager was ill, in hospital, so he couldn't organize the Cybersport team for a new event. Now that he is back, he will soon organize some events for the summer, but all what you need to do is to learn to wait some time for things to happen.
