We should get rid of vote's on the forum!

I was quite a bit suprised when I saw I could vote people's message's. I seemed funny to me and nice to have. But then realising the trolling and the emotions it will bring I think Tanki should immediatly shut it down. Think about the abuse it will have. The chat is full of it. 'Will you vote me?', 'I have voted all your posts' and 'I am gonna give only negative vote's to (**). This is one of the worst ways of cyber-bullying. In this world of trying to be the most popular (even if you use someone else for it) it is just not a good idea. Just give that person you hate all your negative vote's, call your friends and let them also vote negative that person and that person might feel sad. That is no problem for the biggest trolls here (who'll create even more accounts just to vote). An example:

And the forum-vote-system doesn't even exist for 24 hours and these kind of messages are already posted. I have nothing against Supernick, but this is just an example the negative effect it gives us.

Is it actually really necesarry? Why should we have it? I don't really see the point, and till now there has been a lot of abuse. That's why I think Tanki should just remove it as soon as possible.

This vote system is available on many forums. I don't think one should really care for being voted down. Consider it troll and you'll be alright. :P

It isn't about caring, it is about the negative influence it gives us. Just look at the screen I posted above. And that is just the beginning. We really shouldn't create a difference between popular people and less popular people. That's not necessary. And Tanki's should not support trolls. Even though they are by votes or something. It is here for nothing.

Karma will sort itself out. In a couple of weeks people will stop caring about it as it will lose it's fanfare of specialness. Also, it hardly matters anyway, who gives the slightest of flying potatoes what other people think of them? Well, people do care, and I realise that, but they shouldn't. Soon, karma will become just a way of agreeing/disagreeing to a post and it will be cool. IMO, it would be best if it was taken off profiles and only kept on posts but hey ho....

It's only a vote, people can use mutiple accounts if they really want to vote themselves up or to vote others down, but to be honest that's a massive waste of time and incredibly pointless, don't you think.. I'd rather be playing the game or doing something worth while.

 

Give it a week or so, you never know, your opinion could change!

Karma feature is good but, Karma feature is biased for forums.

 

I have seen people exchanging KARMA on daily basis to make good repute on other forums. And its already started here as well... Now you will ask where?

That's why we have a limit on the votes, still; the indication on your profile should be patched in my opinion.

20 people can in 10 days get someone 1000 vote's... They shouldn't have limited it. I mean, what if you find 6 reactions good? I think you should be able to vote unlimited. But it is limited to prevent trolls. Did Tanki expect trolls?
