I agree 100 percent. It is just another TROLL TOOL which will be abused and used to fill the Forum with even more JUNK and ABUSE and 10 million more multiple accounts. Tankionline Subscribed Users = 2 BILLION. Perhaps we can change the name of the Forum to RATE MY TOE CHEESE or something to that effect.

Frivolous waste of resources.

Ooh, necromancy! CPF has returned from the dead!

I will 'thumbs down' your post now to show my disagreement :P

You're just an over-sensitive person. No cyber-bullying of any sort will occur...

It occured today already. eros12 (latvian_killer) left the game because haters and trolls disliked him so he left, now more of this is going to happen...

Tankmen!

The vote feature is supposed to make it easier for us to see what's your opinion of different things in the game, from developers' news to some off-topic discussions, it's just easier to evaluate and assess everything this way.

The feature works only for one day and currently your opinion of it is very important to us, the more feedback we get the better.

It may be adjusted in future depending on how it goes. Currently everyone is limited by 10 likes and 5 dislikes a day.

We'll keep you updated!

I like the feature, but it needs to be changed...

Much larger max up/down votes, and ability to vote on everyone, including staff.

Without being able to vote on staff, this feature is just ridiculous.

We can't vote on reporters, we can vote on consults and mods

My opinions on the vote feature as it is:

1. Voting on Mods' posts should be fine. I hated, as a reporter, getting any special treatment, and I'm sure a lot of the staff do too. Giving them special treatment is insulting - it looks as if they are so weak-minded that they can't take any criticism/insults and so need to be "wrapped in cotton wool".

2. The limit is a bit meh. How about, to avoid trolls, a limit of five downvotes and ten upvotes on the same person but overall no limit, or at least a limit of 30 and 20?

3. I don't like having overall karma on profiles. It makes us seem as if it's a competition. Karma on posts is great, it's a way of showing support and/or disapproval without wasting space by replying and saying "+1" or "I disagree". But on profiles it just seems like a competition and one which will be stupid and will, as people above me say, encourage the wrong type of trolling and be a pain in the neck.

In short: Karma on Profiles suck. Karma on posts is great. Karma on posts should include mods too, the limit on giving karma should be applied to a certain amount on one person and the overall limit should be increased dramatically.

You can't vote for any Staff, except Admins. It was decided to stay like that, atleast for now.

Noted, thanks for ideas!

You cant vote on mods. Try voting on lhamster, or supernick.

And Im saying there should be no one who cant be voted on.

Actually the voting thing was switched off for ForumModerators group, which you can check on the profile page. All others should have it. The feature is still being tested and may be changed in future.

Reporters posts should be voted also in my opinion, but not in newspaper section. Vote's should be disabled in Newspaper section and in complaint section as well.

That's the whole point, to get votes for their articles which are in the Press section...

However, the sections 'limit' thing is interesting.

Well next time put the quote so we can see..or maybe I ninja-posted you?

But yes, removing ability to see who has voted isn't really good...
