I prefer hornet/isida, hornet/freeze, titan/thunder. Hornet has a nice balance for jumping at odd angles and enough speed to surround a tank while freezing or to catch up with another tank to heal. Titan is heavy enough to shoot Thunder from the side and not turn over or knock you off balance.

I'm surprised to see a wasp with a smoky. Wasps are weaker right? So wouldn't pairing it up with a weak, but fast firing weapon be a bad idea? Unless you have some pro tactics :D

 Exactly. Nobody cares for a Wasp/Smoky. I used it and Generalissimos with Mammoths/Twins didn't care about me until I launched 2 Criticals in a row.

The reason why I don't like Hornet is that it's a bit too long and the turret is right smack in the heart of the Hull. Even if they're hiding behind a wall I can clip them from the corner. Easy kill. That's why I use Wasp. It's unstable, but that's good. When people try to flip me I let them flip me and I end up flipping 2 times thus landing upright. :D

The thread is the same size as every other thread. It doesn't take up any more of your screen. This thread enables the player to fully express their ideas. No more what to buy threads no more best combo threads. This is an all in one thread of people's favorite, and best setups. If someone doesn't like the top setup, they'll go for the next one. Good topic, great of you to take the time and effort to list all the combos. I chose the following as my personal best setups at the moment:

 

 

- Hornet/Rail

- Hornet/Isida

- Hornet/Smoky

- Viking/Freeze

 

 

Hornet and Smoky is actually very good, I play with it a lot on test. Hornet/Rail is my main combo as it is simply a great setup to play with, and Freeze/Viking is my second favourite combo, as I have Freeze M2, and Viking is a nice, solid hull. I used to use Viking/Rail before I discovered the power of hit-and-run tactics. As for Hornet/Isida, I only chose it as I'm getting Isida M2 on Monday  :lol:
