Too FEW Crystals!

I'm from India and i usually buy crystals via sms. But the problem is that it is too costly. Only 275 crystals cost about 150 INR. Whereas 1 US dollar gives about 700 crystals. This is unfair. PLEASE increase the amount of crystals offered so that i can make more purchases. Currently it is too costly.

If everybody buys trough sms tanki will receive less money. So they won't be able to keep tanki updated and all without enough budget.

Some services cost more than others. For example, the "Dot" company that iPhone users use to charge credit cards charges a 10% user fee for every swipe made. If the credit card was put through on a checkout computer in the store (in the US), the fee would only be anywhere from 1-5% (depending on the card company).

 

So, when it is all said and done, the correct currency exchange rate needs to be accounted for as well as the fees or extra charges Tanki may be having to cover.

I agree that some companies charge different but look at comparison-

In India,

If I buy via sms then,

150INR = 3$ = 275 crystals only.

If I buy using credit card i get good amount of crystals.

Weigh your options: Is the convenience worth the extra expense, or should I get a pre-paid card (or other payment)...

Prepaid cards are awesome. They're sold really close to where I live so it's very convenient. Personally I use paysafe cards.

I'm pretty sure that the companies here would now look forward to alternative editors partnership, I mean, with such a high population, gamers are everywhere in India! If semyon is to read this, please have a little discussion with the developers to please expand their payment services to other countries too.

Well hi there,

In India I'm not sure if a prepaid card that is accepted by tanki is available here. A lot of these prepaid companies like paysafe, onecard etc. have their customer base in western countries. So what is the solution? Well as Corruption13 rightly pointed out, the tanki administration should increase the payment options available in other countries.

The online gamers are increasing in India. According to a statistic nearly 3% of the online gaming community resides here. This is no surprise either because of increasing broadband penetration within the population.This figure is from 2011, I guess. I'll love to post a TED talks video here on gaming.

It surely is unfair that the other countries especially in the far east don't have as much of a choice with what payment to buy with and most rely on SMS which don't result in as much crystals for the money spent. What I would suggest if for now while you still don't have too many options would be looking into opening a paypal account or something if that would work. I'm pretty sure you could open and use the paypal account with your local bank if you don't have a credit card. It is much cheaper that way and you get bonus crystals.

I am also Indian and the SMS cost is way too much. thats not the biggest problem. the biggest problem is that when i send a SMS the it always says the crystals are not added. EVEN my SMS code and number is right and i have enough balance though  <_< . and i guess USD is now 57 INR (or something like that)

They have "TED" conferences in California that discuss those topics. Search TED in youtube and i'm sure you can find some very informative videos.

not to be rude but 3% is'nt that much of the entire online gaming community and then what percent of that percent play tanki and they are going to be doing more methods for where more people play since this is a german game i assume that almost all of the payment methods are more german friendly as while i am unable to find a payment method that works for me here in the US yes i would like for everyone to have a payment method that works for them unless they would be druggers/extreme wallet warriors  (they may ban me for saying i dont want druggers to spend so much and ruin fair games on me idk since the rules are scattered in my eyes)  thats just my opinion so sorry if i offended any drugger mods or anybody else

according to me it would not need to buy crystals because there would not be the taste to play anymore and to earn them... and then... money be spent at all!
