Your Gold Catching Method

Hello ! I was wondering, how do you act when you see the 'Gold box will fall soon' notification ?

Me, I wait a few seconds, press self destruct, respam, drug, join the spam point where i feel it is better (less tanks / closest to me)

 

When I feel the gold will fall, I start firing at enemys, to have an advantage in case it fall between us. Then as soon as I see the gold (if I see it) I rush in this direction, even if I have no chances, while shooting at enemys to get kills.

 

With this tactic, I still have my drugs when the gold is taken, and it is not a waste of drugs.

Before I ever catch a Gold, I have to scan the map and play with it to know where Crystal box drops, Gold Drops, or any other important middle-located signature spots are. Silence there's the square board-walk or the red pipe.

 

Well after all I am a Wasp. I can't stay in the field of fire for long or else I will die- you can count on that. So I wait in the Shadows. Like in the very far sidelines. I don't shoot at anyone to get less attention- furthermore I have a very dull paint and small hull: Wasp with Forester. I usually use a stubby Isida which makes me look smaller and less of a threat. I don't drug automatically or else they will kill me because everyone fears drugs. 

 

If I have Drugs: I wait for some time, then I use Drugs. However, since everyone dreads drugs I keep completely out of sight- but not far away. Meaning behind enemy Turrets and not right next to them to keep myself out of their vision. If I see Gold drop far away, I have Nitro and 2X Armor on so I make a dash for it- although I don't need to since I usually know where Gold drops thus I stay near those areas.

If I'm out of Drugs: This is where I have to think a little. At this time I don't necessarily need to go faraway- since I don't have drugs and people think of me as an easy kill. They're more focused on other Druggers. When I see Gold fall I just charge in and nab it. It's happened before. I press up against weakened Thunders who are afraid to shoot me because they'll kill themselves. :D I have to be always on my toes so I circle the area a bunch of times then drive in.

My method is go to a wall near a drop zone and place a mine onto a drop zone just in case then hide from all those druggers behind a wall if I see it drop I then use my supplies and go after it and kill the people charging after it or just ram in to them with my mammoth and twins.

Drug just a DA (when im wasp) and a nitro if im using mammy. Get a position close to crys drop-spots. Wait..... dash for it (wasp) or push people out of the way (mammy)

I won't get it anyway, so I use that moment for stealing flags when everyone's brainwashed.

But it's not working out well, there are still people who are in the base, and my team is obsessed with the gold too.  :lol:

 

Maybe I'll run and hide somewhere and wait out the moment.

Whoa, that's a smart move. Thanks for the idea! :lol:  I shall now place Mines in common drop-zones. ^_^

 Don't do that. Waste of drugs when they run out or something. Or they just prolong how long you live and where you are which Is bad. Better off dying right away to have a fresh start to chase Gold.

You know when "Gold Box Will Drop Soon" shows it only gives you one minute until it drops and your using your drugs right when it shows and drugs only last for 1 minute so your just wasting them. :P

When i'm low at health first self destruct , then i'll go hiding after a wall. After a few seconds i use my drugs.When i see the gold i rush towards it. Cause i use Mammoth i often just pusheveryone away.

Last week i got 5 golds this way on Silence and Iran

when the sign goes up i stay away from any of the points still like i am away 1 minute self destruxt using delete button i alway spawn away from the gold box place in silence i know them really well all drugs i spam at the enemy using my twins i see it i get it

When that notification first came up after the update, I always seemed to have a heart attack...

 

But after a few weeks of getting used to it, i'm fine now :D

 

My method:

 

1. Dash with nitro to a spot

2. Try and pick a 'good' spot ( One near where a lot of crystal drops are or just one where I don't have to contest with anyone else to get one)

3. Put on double armor once I get there

4. Put on DP if someone tries to attack me

5. Then hopefully when it drops, put on first aid kit so I won't really get killed too badly

 

Worked with this gold box that I got ages ago :D

I don't usually drug when goldbox notification pops up but go to the area where I guess it is more likely that a golbox will drop, and I wait for maybe 15 seconds then drug. And most of the time ever since the first goldbox I caught, I'm always lucky that goldbox drops from heaven on top of me when I really don't know where it will drop.

Everything like you Raph, but this gives you a bigger advantage: Check shadows, they will let you know earlier when gold is falling.
