I'm really dissapointed and angry that a group of Muslims just came on the forum and ranted about zues paint and actually got it changed. Thats really stupid and just childish. If thats the case then Any group could protest a paint or gun and have it changed, which is why I am asking that tanki change BACk zues description to what it was, so what if it offends you, grow up, tanki respects no one religion. No one is offending your god. This is a chain reaction because soon a lot of people are going to come protest stuff because it offends their "religion". Why, because some people couldn't chill out and not get butthurt about a simple sentence. So please change it back, because it offends my religion  :(

evil.kinevil you are very inconsiderate. Those players are very devout, and the description of the Zeus paint didn't just offend the Islamic religion, but rather Allah - the "God". That is very insulting in the Muslim culture to offend Allah. You should understand this before complaining about the description change.

I completely agree. It's a game and if you find the description of a paint in Tanki Online offensive, life will be very inexorable.

Well if they change it back then Muslims will complain to change it back then other religions like yours will complain to change it back again. If that happens they might change the name of the paint or worse remove it.

Dude. I totally agree. That text was in the description of Zeus for ages and by now they complaining. Im with you in the battle to change the Zeus description back.

One of the most important things I have learned is to "Seek first to understand, then be understood" - that's not a religious quote (look it up) but it is one of the keys to being successful in all aspects of life.

 

- Respect to Tanki for listening to someone who was upset and offended, and taking action which in practice has NO impact on anyone else at all.

- Some respect for those who complained and stood up for what they believed in;  next time, however, I would suggest a polite private message would achieve the same outcome. 

- No respect at all to those who equate all Muslims and all Arabs.   There are millions of non-Arab Muslims (in Indonesia, Pakistan and Iran for example) and millions of non-Muslim Arabs (such as a the Arabic Christians) in the world.
