I was first really anti-thunder. Though i bought i after a while , and i really liked the splash damage and how fast you can kill enemies.

thunder is great on drugs...and without it is ok ok..i would say killing hornets wasps is good but heavier hulls would require you drugs..am using thundre m2 and muing its reload and damage to an extent.

Thunder is officially now my favorite turret. Even though there's no screenshot, I got 1.1k crystals in 1 hour in two CTFs with Hunter/Thunder (and a lot of DP but shush)

Remember that Brigadier is only one rank past Colonel. Any M3 is OP at that rank.

I still use Thunder pretty well ---- okay maybe not these days as I can barely move my tank but I used to. Not too much of a difference between M1&2

How often do higher ranks such as Majors or better use Thunder protection paint? I joined one DM with them and I saw A LOT of Emerald and Rustle. If every battle is like that I'm unsure If I want M2 Thunder.

If you have one of those paints yourself, then you'll be fine ;) M2 Hunter-M2 Thunder-Rustle is good enough to dominate Generals :D

Meh it's not that common, as they are expensive. Anyways, get rustld and it won't be of a problem ;)

If you just want Thunder protection, you can get Cedar, which is a lot cheaper than Rustle but has the same Thunder protection. It doesn't have the cool looks or Freeze/Isida protection that make Rustle special, however.
