Isn't freeze m2 weak for a m2?

It unlocks very early (WO5) so it is a rather weak M2, but at the same time it allows you to MU it quite early in the game so you may actually get Freeze M3 fast.

At my rank this turret is really annoying so I think it's going to be my next M3. I'm also really considering getting 1 or 2 more modules with protection against it.

WHat? Freeze is good at Legend? I thought the freeze ability is weak since turrets move faster now.

It's a solid choice in the battles I usually play as I've seen many players performing well with it, but I also consider getting the Corosive Mix alteration for when I pair it with Titan when the freezing effect is rather useless.

Freeze now. Firebird was my favorite at M2 but now firebird is just for fire/light battles

I have both Freeze and Firebird at M2 on my Major general account and I haven't used Freeze since Colonel rank (1 year ago) because Fire is sooo much better. I earned about 50k experience with Firebird M2 in 2 weeks after I got it, it's amazing for exp.

Again, firebird was basically my only m1 turret and my best m2 turret https://prnt.sc/g72jyd. I skipped right to m3 from m0 with freeze https://prnt.sc/g72k9b I use freeze a lot more now with the exception of the 5x golds weekend because of fire/light battles.

Yah I mainly use freeze because...well...free mus update (its m3) I used to like fire more but I think I am just as good at them both. Now I only need to get 2 upgrades on hunter and I have a full m3 combo...at brigadier

That's not too uncommon. I had Hornet Thunder M3 at brigadier. There was even a kit to get Hornet Isida M3 at Colonel.

Freeze is BEAST my friends, best deal with freeze is that u can take out burning from teammate and freeze other enemys and go around them with no getting damage on you :) Its one of best turrets for DM on some maps... Once I did 70 kills on Polygon with freeze, Its OP... I higly recommend it :)

As far as I have observed playing DMs, the only people who use Freeze are very good in using it. The Freeze effect makes even the most potent of drugs useless.

Agree. I tried freeze again after a long hiatus and I have never used a weapon this strong. Enemies also remain frozen even after they use a repair kit. :D

I don't understand this part.  Thought the repair kit removed the Freezing.  Did the update on RK nix that?

I think because the repair kit doesn't restore full health, it doesn't remove all of the freeze effect.

Not interested in Firebird because of the excessive modules against it. But what about freeze? I know there will always be a few people with protection from your turret but is it excessive?

If you play Polygon CP then all the strong players already  have protection against everything coming in a variety of combinations. Among weaker players the most popular modules I've seen are Lion T-B (Fire, Rico, Twins), Shark T-G (Thunder, Rico, Striker) and Badger T-F (Fire, Freeze, Twins) so you may get intro trouble at times as well. In Arena or Island is even worse as Badger T-F is more popular there.

I've played with Freeze and it seems rather weak. What bothers me is that the freezing effect isn't that significant and the damage output isn't that great either. Btw, almost everyone that uses Freeze already has the M2 alteration for it which may make Freeze a little better, but I don't know since I've never tried it out.

As for other maps...I have no idea how's Freeze doing there.

 

Update:

I've tried out Freeze again and it went a bit better than I expected so I will try testing it more in the near future. Maybe I was wrong.

 

 

 

 

The result looks good but there are some things that need to be considered. As you can see there are very few modules against Freeze but changing equipment was disabled to they couldn't have done anything about it. The score is good, but there were many noobs in the battle and for the best results I need to test with some more hard players around. Just as expected the Freezing effect comes in handy only on rare ocasions so the M2 alteration seems to be a good deal.
