Hunter m3 is much better. 14 XP is nothing, but 1,2 speed makes a big difference from Viking. Good luck!

I bought M2 Viking today and I have to say I underestimated Viking sooooo much!

The speed is great, the armor is decent, (at least better than Wasp), and I feel good with more Power! :D

 

It's good with Thunder-friendly and Isida-friendly. I used Isida in Serpuhov and it was fun and great! :D

Definitely worth it. I think before there was a 60% discount on Viking or something? I regret not buying it then.

 

Now I'll save my 80,000 crystals for future things like Viking M3 or something. :D

i always use it with the shaft, and sometimes the ricochet or the thunder. i'm surprised the shaft isn't that high up actually. it is very low though, so i get why it works very well with the thunder

It 's not the weight. It 's the drifting that you notice.

 

The Hornet has this drifting too ofcourse, only a lot stronger.

For example a Hunter M3 at the test-server feels a bit "unsteady" at first, but it is only a feeling and very soon you don 't

even notice it anymore.

 

The Viking doesn 't have any tendency to drift so it directly feels firm.

True, for Gold the medium hull to get is the Dictator.

I don't like Viking. Hunter and dictator are way better. Hunter is better because there is only 7 hp difference bteween Viking and hunter while the speed difference is 1.12 (hunter is faster for 1.12) Dictator is better because it's easier to shoot people above you. Dictator is also the best tank for gold boxes (because of its height and the bump on the back of it.. Anyway i don't like Viking it's flat and wide. That makes it harder to shoot people above you. But it is very stable. The reason why people buy Viking is because it's cheap and the level requirement is very low.

 

P.S: Viking is the 2 most overrated tank in Tanki Online. The first one is hornet.

Viking is just HORRIBLE. The wider and flatter form of viking is just SAD acuatlly. Viking isn't worth it for M3. And as always your saying "but it's cheap and the level requirement is very low".  TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHY IT'S SO CHEAP AND WHY THE LEVEL REQUIREMENT IS SO LOW. BECAUSE VIKING SUCKS!!! I don't really like Viking, but it's far from a bad hull, especially at M2, where it has about as much health as a M2 Dictator. The low profile and height is really useful if you want to stay concealed while sniping, and it has otherwise good stats all around.
