Spark looks nice... It seems.the higher ranked paints are more camouflage-y rather than artistic

Hmm, maybe.. but Zeus is pretty artistic looking. I have to agree though with duller paints like Needle, Clay, and others that they aren't used for the looks but the protection.

And to players who have these paints, what are your opinions on Inferno and Irbis? I like both for their looks and protections, and it's really hard to choose one or the other.

I got inferno, and it is great on a medium/heavy hull- don't have to worry about freeze or firebird as much :p

 

Plus might be biased but

My main concern would be lack of Isida protection for Inferno, but I suppose with Freeze it wouldn't matter too much.

The title pretty much covers it. What paint do you use the most in battles? What do you want as you final paint? Also (this is not on the title) what paint do you see people using the most? 

And what paint do you think, is important to get against. 

Right now, i think you need to get protection against (in order)

Firebird

Freeze

Thunder

Railgun

Isida

Rustle has good protection against Thunder that is 34% and it's cheap as well compared to Emerald and unlocks earlier.

It's freeze protection is also decent which is 20%. It can surely help you survive longer against a freeze 

 

Emerald on the other hand has 42% protection against thunder which is more than enough to get protection against thunder

and 26% against twin which will be useful when facing a twin 1 on 1 and 10% against rail can still protect you slightly

and it's a M3 paint which you can use till Gizmo but the problem here is that the rank it unlocks is a little bit later on (Major General). 

 

So if you can wait till then and you are sure that you will have enough crystals by that time then you can go for emerald 

otherwise rustle is your friend

Thank you for comparation , but i wait too much for emerald , and how i seen on these maps railgun/twins is not so much used , like freez/isida ... so with you`r discription i`ll pick rustle .

For my rank I have jaguar/ leopard (I keep getting mixed up) I'm sticking with it and micro-upgrading it. I will probably keep it until I can afford something like Emerald.
