Best paint for Island CTF you're rank is.

 

 

               Urban

 

 

40% Twins

20% Isida

5% Firebird

5% Ricochet

 

115 000 at full price at 50% sale its 57500.

 

Pros

 

-Great Protection from Twins and Isida

-Twins and Isida is common at Island

-Well if you hit yourself with ricochet you take 5% less damage  :P

Cons

 

-Too Expensive at a rank you need to save for m2s

-You will be a bigger target because people usually attack the powerful people first

-The additional 5% is useless on a light hull

 

If you have the crystals I recommend this but if you don't, do not buy it.

-Cheaper

-Great Isida Protection

First of all I think it gave 20% second of all its too OP to be implemented some people work so hard to get paints that offer 18% all turrets (Helper Paint). so no its a bad idea.

I can't find it in the garage, and he was in the game with several physics hackers (like that red tank in the back, who climbed the tower by riding up the wall). Is it a staff paint or am I blind to its location in the garage?

It's the Microchip paint as @Contradiction said.

I know this question had been discussed in length and breadth here, but I am still confused  - How does paint protection calculated ?

 

I found the following theories in this forum (X is the protection percentage)

 

1. (100-X)% of the damage from turret will be effected on the hull

 

      This seems to be the most sensible and viable answer. For example, if the rail inflicts 150hp damage, with 10% protection, it will be 135

 

2. The health of the hull will be increased by X% against that particular turret

 

      Here I have the following questions

     - Does the percentage is calculated based on stock arrmour (hunter M2 has 200) or Mu'ed ones (My Hunter M2 is now at 210)

     - If the hull is already hit and now have 150hp, how much protection will it get - X% of 150 or X% of initial Armour.

 

  If #2 is the logic in place, then it makes no sense to buy paints which offers less than 30% protection for light hulls like Wasp and Hornet.
