The suicide button

I know that some people don't have problems usin' del, but not all computers have it, like the MacBook Pro... I was thinkin' of havin' a suicide button on screen on the right hand corner (and you just click it)

If I recall correctly, they were planning on making a self-destruct button for the Macbook. If not, they should get into it.

I use a macbook pro and have never had a problem with hitting command-delete. I'm not understanding the complaints and problems others are having with this, anyone care to clarify?

They could also just make it another key on the keyboard - Esc(ape) for example, or zero.

Hitting two keys at the same time? Like using the shift key to do capitals or symbols? That's just crazy talk - it could never work.

Could never work? That's the way if works now, and hundreds of people use it just fine. What's the prob?

Just hit all the keys in the lower left with del and see which one works, what I do on macs :P.

i also had this problem on my Mac but actually all you need to do is press fn + back.

I do agree with the OP, there should be a self destruct button on your screen somewhere.

It's much easier.

Neither does my laptop,what i use to delete is alt,backspace

Quite so - my response was an attempt at ironic humour. We were all managing to hit "shift" without our brains melting as we posted.
