If they join into a battle, yes but you need to click on the battle name to go that server they joined.

1. I have bug - button does't always refresh after checking notification. I have exclamation on Friends button, but I don't have any new notifications.

2. Should be shown the number of the server where it is a friend. Mayby if I need to login again then choose another friend who is on a server on which I am currently logged on.

You don't need to use lobby to find a friend. Just open "Sent Requests" tab in the friends menu, you will see "Send a request to a friend..." line at the bottom. Just enter the nickname of a person you want to add there and click on "Send".

No, it won't show you the server, however it will show the direct link to battle.
