But is Mammoth M1 and Firebird M1 the best ever combo?? It sounds awful but when you drug and go for the flag in silence O.o, it is heavanly. You are indestructable and anyone who "annoys you" can just be sprayed for 0.5 seconds and you let the burn effect do the rest.

Depends on the map. Big maps like Serpuhov will not be very friendly towards that combination, due to huge disadvantage to long range guns.

hmm, wasps and hornets imo are awful and isida is only good for healin imo, too many people are attacking you at enemy base so you cannot kill loads of people at once (imagine if you could :P) but with firebirrd you can.

You're right, it's a very powerful weapon, and many people like to use it. But I'm into long range, and I don't like the fact that it runs out so fast and takes so long to reload. It's just up to people's gaming style.

For example - on Stadium, for the most part you'd be chewed up by Shaft, Smokey and Railgun sniper fire before you reached the flag.

Plenty of other maps where Hornet/Railguns diving in and out of cover would rip you up as well, all the way there.

 

Either way - as players rank and upgrade their weapons/hulls/pains, so tactics will evolve and spread to bring the challenge back..

A combo M1 will not work for my rank. I'll preffer a M2 - M3. :)

 

But mammoth and fire are kind of overpowered.

Like said at the beginning of the thread, Firebird is only effective at close range, in a small map.

 

If it's not your preference, fine. Other people like using it.
