when should I do a rank-up party?

I am 3200 XP points from a rankup and im going to rank up by tommorow, at how much EXP should I do a rank-up party?

I always do a rank up party with less than 10 points to go, but to be honest, it does not matter.

Some people invite to rank-up parties with 500 xp to go, and that's quite annoying. I'd suggest 50 or less; what hog said will guarantee your rank-up at the right time :)

If I were you, I wouldn't bother. There's no fun in a rank up party when you have no friends. Just joking, but rank up parties are boring anyway, just rank up the manly way and just get a kill in a game.

Well, you can get away having a ranking party with 250 XP left, as I did last... But that was more luck than anything, as just as everyone started to say it was taking too long, the following words flashed across the screen:

 

"Gold box will be dropped soon"

 

Of course, everyone politely agreed that I should take it... and then drugged and charged for it, firing like mad, when it actually fell :lol:

 

Gold boxes are a sure way to have a successful ranking party when you have quite a bit of XP left to go... However, if you don't want to take that chance, start when you have 50 or so XP left, as others have said ;)

I don't see the point in rank up parties. I like to rank up by capturing the flag
