That this Tanki forum is becoming like being in a communist country.  People are getting banned left right and centre for what?  Discussing moderator's actions... *shudder shudder* who are these beings, the moderators, are they angels are are they the gestapo?  They ban for this and that, and this and that.  And many times we have made topics about this just to have them deemed as "pointless".  Even when a reporter comments about the moderators, and their faults, THEY GET BANNED!  These people who you trust, and @GoldRock are reporters.  They have been appointed to help our community.  You, tanki, made them reporters because they're sensible and have brains.  Now, if these are the most intelligent of the english tanki people, then SURELY you should listen to them.

That sounds like communism to me.  Does it not?  Insane.  And yes I'll get banned for this, blah blah blah, but something has to change.  Half the topics I see on tanki forum are locked.  Good discussions are cut in half because some ban happy mod glues his finger to the ban trigger.  Seriously, haven't you noticed, there are hardly any pros left on the forum.  This is simply because of the stupid number of people who say "pointless" topic, and the mods who keep locking.  The mods that don't give a dam what anyone thinks.  They just plough through their work waiting for the next pay, regardless of whether someone has put forward a reasonable argument.

 

Selena and goldrock weren't rude.  They were polite.  They even commented on the good points of the moderation, yet as soon they got onto the faults, they were banned.  Absolutely disgraceful.

I didn't witness when they got banned (just saw screenshot)  but this Rule 2.18 is getting ridiculous. We give opinions about your moderation and we get banned? What kind of rule is that! 

 

We think that their moderation is bla bla blah, and then we get busted for a week? Or even a month? Or even forever? What kind of strict rules is this. But we're trying to make this game better. So does Selena and GoldRock.. they applied to be reporters to entertain this community.. and then you just ban them for no reason.. They did nothing wrong.

 

Pfft. I hate Rule 2.18 so much.

PUBLIC discussion of moderators' action is against the rules. Because there is no point in discussing and complaining in public.

I do hope that when a person is dissatisfied with something, he or she wants it to be solved. And the quickest way to solve the problem is to talk to someone who can help. Usually it is me or some admin, like Eddy, Yele, Miz and so on.

 

And, as we all know, rules are for everyone. Including members of staff. There are standard bans for breaking the rules, that's it.

 

It's not communism, it's the best way to solve the problem. Unhappy with the ban or moderator's actions? Contact a CM or an admin and complain.

 

If staff member did something wrong, he should be punished for that, whether it is a moderator giving an unfair ban or a reporter that trolls others and publicly discusses his or her colleagues.

But even if we complain, like 1 year ago when I got banned for a week for sabotage, which I didn't, I just played normally. I complain to you mods, what I get?

All the bans can be checked and you can always write to help@tankionline.com and ask them about the reason of your ban.

 

Finally, there is a good reason for the Rule 2.18, you need to understand that, public discussion doesn't help to solve the problem. It just makes people around angry because of nothing. If you are unhappy with the way moderators work, PM me and I will look into it.
