Well, you know, if you program something to be random, you can also disable it for specific times.

Its not really random... they just want you to think that :P

This kind of thing doesn't happen in battles limited by time. So if it is less than 1 minute left till the end, there won't be a notification.

Battles limited by kills or flags is another thing completely, it can't be predicted, so situations like this happen and it is inevitable.

Oh I love doing that. I've only done it once, but I was leading a DM match (drugged 2x power with Railgun M2 hhhh). Then I was 2-3 kills from the limit when Goldbox warning came. I guess people didn't want me to win yet because the Chatbox was spamming a lot xD. I won either way though, no Gold box. ahahaha.

Yes that is annoying. Sometimes in DMs/CTF battles, players end the battle if they know they have no chance of getting the gold. :lol:

It really doesn't matter though, as you have tonnes of chances to get it.

yah on tanki forums im having good things with gold boxes and bad things i know there good because they give you thousand crystals and on somedays and match more than 1 come.but lots of matches names are like golden box when none come.

^Gold boxes are random. The title of the battle has nothing to do with Gold falling.

Yes, as annoying as it sounds, gold box drops randomly without concern of timing. So it's just something you've gotta deal with. There are plenty more in other battles ;)

If you're talking about Semyon and Irontank1v's avatars, Semyon's bigger because he's Community Manager. Irontank1v's is the same size as mine. The only difference is his shield is bigger than mine. (Candidates have smaller shields (me). When you become a full Mod, like Irontank1v, your shield gets bigger.)

this is really annoyngg in deathmatches , especialy in Polygon when noumber of frags is limited to battle. when gold box notification appears you drug and hide somewhere waiting for it and you dont even care to look how many kills for top player needed 3 ?. 2 ?. or mabye one. gold is always in already on my turret and bammmm somoene reached the frag limit sooooooooooooooo anoying

Now without further ado, back to discussion why the English Community hate when 1k orange boxes drop from the sky right at the end of a game that could very well be worth way more :)
