This adam187 has been hacked sinced antiquity. It all started....

 

When I was battling, a player named basharkhtare asked me to trade accounts. I replied "I would rather follow the #Rules" He denied my acceptation. He forced me to. He didn't sound like a hacker. And, it was my first time trading. We were in a PM battle, and he told me to tell my password first. I did. He logged on my account and I lost connection. Then I lost my password. I went on another account, basharkhtare and I had a fight. The next day, he gave me my account back. I played on it a lot. A few days later, I lost radiation again for no reason. After I changed my password, he still knew it? I was so confused. He gave me my account back again like a month ago. Eventually, he will probably learn my technique of how I change my passwords. There is only one question haunting my head....Will this happen again?

Just a wild guess, but was your password of your Tanki account the same as your Email account? He might be able to log in your email account to change your pass. Also if you think that's what it is, you can check your mail for 'Change Password'-emails from Tanki Online.

 

And about your will it happen again, I don't know.

Change your password again, put a strong one, atleast 10 characters with low/cap ketters, numbers and special symbols. Do the same with your email, put a security question aswell. And don't accept/download any strange files from people you don't know, many of them may contain keyloggers which can get everything you type, including passwords.

What he did was, he put a program on your account that automatically tells him your password anytime you change it. The same thing happened to me on my evil.kinevil account, but I was smart. you have to change your password from a different computer. Then make sure your email and tanki password aren't the same.. Just change the password from a different computer and he won't be able to tell what your password is. if that doesn't work, then this hacker is one smart kid and I don't know what to do if that doesn't work.

There's no way he can 'put a program on your account'

If there's a keylogger in your computer and you choose a new password from another one - yes, 'hacker' won't get it. But when you go back to your computer and put it in the login form, the keylogger will get it again.

 

Adam187, open Processes (ctrl+alt+delete -> Task Manager -> Processes tab) and check for unknown/strange processes, one of them could be a keylogger.

well... if you had email linked on ur account and confirmed + if u had different passwords on tanki account and email, only thing that "hacker" could do was to link his Vkontakte account on your tanki account... that simply explains everything i guess...

 

P.S. vkontakte is russian social network which also can be used to log in your tank without password IF you linked your OWN vkontakte account on YOUR own tanki account

In my nub times I got scammed too  :ph34r:

I had my e-mail actived so he couldn't change the pass (I think)

I changed my password several times but he could still logged 

He used all of my set of drugs drugs , 300 of each

I was confused :| Was it because he had activated "remember me" ? 

 

At the end luckily , he stopped entering in my account

A friend of me did try third party software on test for fun, like speedhack. 1 day after he used that program his normal acc got stolen, they can easily have cookie readers in those programs. They read and send your username and password.

If you break the rules and trade accounts, use speed hacks etc, don't complain and ask for help when it all goes wrong.

 

Never ever give passwords away.

He is correct.Never also put your pass anywhere except forum which is tankionline.com/en or ru or de and in game. No where else! There are quit expert hacker nowadays  as he said below V
