1. No.

2. The two people with the most character reducing themselves and becoming overly polite.

Well said.

In the positive,

Firstly, in opinioned interviews, there have to be critics (I see none here), and as says, it's obvious that at least one of the people interviewed must not have liked the update, but were intimidated by it being an official interview and felt obliged to five positive feedback.

Yes, I did notice that this interview was rather opinionated and did not represent the general views of the community; considering the announcement of the update has largely had negative reactions, the interviews should have been stratified with most of the responses negative to demonstrate a fair representation of opinions.

Hopefully, this topic can remain open for some sensible discussion on the forum in general.

That's not what she said. Basically, Selena's saying we should loosen up a bit, and that trolls like you are actually an example of some independence in the community, even though your actions aren't generally helpful. She also says that if we all try to be more independent in our posts, you won't be needed anymore :P

Selena, I understand your feelings and thank you for saying what you think.

On the other hand, what you need to understand is that players that don’t break any rules won’t be banned. Saying what you think is a vital thing and that’s actually what this forum is all about.

But as any other forum, this one has some rules that every player is obliged to follow, and he or she actually agrees to do it when entering the forum. Breaking these rules will result in warnings and bans. All the other things are allowed.

A simple example is the topic where people were giving a mark of 1 to 10 to Tanki before and now. Lots of people shared their ideas there, some of them were quite negative. None of users were banned or even warned. Why? Because everyone followed the rules.

To sum it up, constructive criticism is welcome and that’s what keeps us going, that’s why things change and get adjusted all the time, that’s why we will most likely make one radical change to micro-upgrades that will change it completely.

So as long as you follow rules, you are welcome to discuss stuff and share your opinions.

As for bans and closing topics, moderators’ goal is to remove topics and messages that give no valuable information, insulting, or break the rules. If something is interesting and provokes a discussion according to the rules, it doesn’t get removed as active civilised polite discussion is what makes forum a forum and that's how we see it.

PS about that article with feedback about the new physics. It was an exact translation of a Russian article posted on the TO News site and shows what Russian testers and old cybersport members think (those who can be called truly experienced in things like physics and gameplay in general). All the articles are neutral there, that’s how it is supposed to be.

Discussion here can continue as long as everyone follows the rules and continues the idea of the main post.

I would like to take this opportunity to say "hats off to you". We may not meet eye-to-eye on numerous matters, but I respect that you've unhidden and reopened this topic. Thank you.

I think it is right when we say the forum was more active and had way more discussion than we have now. I am here for multiple years so I know how it was in the past. So, I think people became kind of scared for what they are typing, and they might misunderstand the given bans on the forum. Those bans are scaring people to give feedback because they are simply afraid they do something against the 2.18 rule. And we all know that feedback is necessary for improvement.

I think I agree with Semyon that a discussion can be held as long as there won't be any rules offended. Although, I think that feedback on moderators should be possible, but should be kept in general, not against one moderator, because we have 'PM' for that. So, in my opinion there may be said: (EXAMPLE)''The rules for the forum are not strict enough, and topics should be closed faster.''. Or the opposite of it. People should be able to say this without the risk of being banned. Of course it shouldn't be a random shout-out, but it should contain arguments

Joosty

P.S. This topic seems quite constructive and can have a very nice discussion! :)

I did actually say this topic was not for staff. And what I am saying is that I can hardly see any true opinions. Like I said, everyone's afraid of getting banned, even though they'll break no rules.
