Congratulation Israeli Aerospace Industry [iAI] and India's Defensive Research & Development Organization [DRDO] to jointly create and test out Barak 8 [name for Israeli warship missile] a.k.a Long Range Surface-to-Air Missile [name will India use].

 

Purpose for designed: To defend against any type of airborne threat including aircraft, helicopters, anti-ship missiles, and UAVs as well as cruise missiles and combat jets out to a maximum range of 70km.

BrahMos missile is perceived as the confluence of the two nations represented by two rivers, the Brahmaputra in India and the Moskva in Russia.

Disarmament can't be implemented until there is suspicion, external threats, looming wars, infiltrations ... so we have to develop protective armament and a defensive framework. Its inevitable.
