Question:  If I create a tournament and you find it good etc., am I supposed to be the organizer or can I play in it as well (other players might say that I prepared the battles to make my arrive to the finals easilier, especially if you give crystals prizes) ???

In other words, if you think my future tournament will  be  good enough to award me with crystals and prizes for the winners, will you be the organizer?

  • clan licenses are cancelled: from now on each newly created group will be a clan                                                                                                                                                                                That means that if I'm in team it will become clan ? Or it will stay team ?

You cannot take part in your own-organized tournaments of course.

Yes, your team will become a clan.

Nick is right, it will happen soon. There can be slight delays though as we will first prepare rules, then clans and teams can be divided into leagues. Stay tuned!

:o  thought much of those rules were already prepped and ready for roll-out , but well lets just see how it all pans out :)  Looking forward to those long sought changes :)

However I would like to request that this time those rules be shown to a few clan leaders for proof reading and ironing out inconsistencies, ambiguities and other potentially unwelcome things before being rolled out to the whole cybersport community.  It will help prevent cases where rules had to be re-amended like in the past

ikr, but if you find it good and award me with crystals, are you supposed to be the organizers then, letting me participate??

Not really, the tournament is fully administrated by its creator(s), who take responsibility for its quality and functioning. In case of a well done job, after the tournament is over, the administration may decide to fund it with some crystals.

Suggested this, looks like there is not enough time to collect feedback. And, quoting the words, "new cybersport rules are not so unpleasant".
I might be able to post some extract here or in a dedicated topic, we'll see. Stay tuned.

Ok thanks then... I am sure I can create a very good one, but I can't organize it, I'm busy IRL and I can't create a tournament table etc. so I guess I should try with some good friend to create it, while he organizes...

An other question, and if I create and an other guy (a friend of mine) organizes it(talking about keeping it active and creating the tournament table, while I just create rules), will I be able to take part in the tournament? And will crystals be shared between me and him (if you think it's good of course)?? Let me know please

i dont like this idea because people in top clans will make fun of people in novice groups. plus it will be harder to become a top team because  m3 accounts will go looking  for top clans and the lower clans that are just starting may have hard times getting members :(

No you can't take part in your tournament.

This means that a team has to grow as they members rank then.

And what if a clan has both m3 and m2 players? Is this clan suitable for league 3 or will it be in league 4?

We'll see that, everything at times. For now it's not clear if I have to set my own parameters to divide teams in leagues or there is some general rule. I guess some more information will come with the new cybersport rules (soon).

^ leagues 1 and 2 are pretty much set.  Leagues 3 and 4, if there will be a forth, well , I can smell another tournament to determine who goes to L3 and de-facto all new clans go in L4 and work their way up, unless the new rules provide leeways for instant promotion to higher leagues if certain conditions are met

Yes please do if you can, and as for feedback I think it would be ok if Tanki doesn't lay the rules and decides to make a tournament based on them in 1 week's time.  It would be good to give established clans some time to recover and adapt to the new changes

Final question, can I have the right to be a tournament moderator, who gets screenshots of insulted players etc.? In this case I will send it in the violators' forum and give a player a yellow card. I will be the crew of the tournament of course (with an other guy).

Moreover can we post three different threads? (Discussion, Rules and Applications,  Results)

Not of official tournaments, organized by tanki (unless you become CyberSport mod). But the description you made fits with creating your own tournament.

1.9.2. Allocation of the prize pool.

1.9.2.2. All of a clan's players participating at the end of the tournament receive an award paint.

1.9.2.3. Prize money is split equally between all players who have fought for the clan in more than 50% of play-off battles.

Clans should be able to have as many members as they wish to accept, I would suggest that each clan produce a tournament squad of the 15 best players within the clan that will participate in the tournaments for each season.

Becoming a member of a clan is much more that just playing in tournaments, the members become friends, and spend time in group chats with all of the members of the clan, meeting up each day to battle together, daily practices, and discussions on improving their game ie: best combo’s, paints, tactics, etc..., we also chat about real life ie: school work, games, accomplishments, worries, interests, etc.

I feel limiting Clans to 15 members will segregate the Generalissimos from the rest of the Tanki community. It seems to me that we should encourage Clan spirit so that many players can enjoy the honour of being part of the clan, even if they do not yet have the garage, or skill yet to be on the tournament squad, the strongest players have a lot of experience to pass on to these members and these members will in turn become better players.

Every clan member is proud of his/her clan regardless of whether or not they make it onto the clans tournament squad and shares the excitement of the clans accomplishments.

Wow! Loved the speech! Almost dropped a tear there...
