I've been putting off writing anything for the past few days, but I forced myself to today. I did leave off sort of abruptly last time. Where was I? Ah, yes--the message.  It was very strange! Take a look for yourself:

"Dear Players we the administration are held by criminals at Tanki HQ please help us!"

The developers are being held hostage! I know it may sound crazy, but this is actually a plausible explanation for what's been happening! I mean, the Devs would never do anything so crazy as removing drugs! It was their way of telling us that something is wrong! This is just awesome if it is true! Well, of course, it's not awesome, but it's cool that the Devs would rely on the players for something so big! I guess there was no other way to get a message out. You may think I'm crazy to believe it, but I did have a ten hour flight to reflect, and the message doesn't seem so crazy now. I mean, it was the admins who posted it, right? And why would they ever make a joke like that? It's not April first. See what I'm saying? I know I'm right.

Uggghhh! Just checked, and Granny has no Wi-Fi! What am I going to do?!?
Anyway, I am super tired right now (I still have turbo-lag, or whatever they call it), so I'm gonna get to sleep.

Edward awakens! I slept so long -- like fourteen hours! Guess what? I found internet! I feel like I'm connected with the world again. It's from a neighbor, so I have to sit awkwardly in the left corner of my room, but at least I have it. I love noobs (it's not a bad word, Miss Reynolds) who don't use passwords. Still, since I'm going to be here a month, I'll see what I can do to get granny to buy her own router.

So, with this new found internet, I managed to go on Google Maps, and I discovered the most amazing coincidence! It's incredibly ironic! Granny's apartment just happens to be about a mile away from Perm, which is where the Tanki Online HQ is located! I can't believe this! I am the one who discovered the secret message, and I actually have a chance to do something about it. But what can I do? I don't even speak Russian, and if I go to the police, I'm sure that they won't believe me. What if I am wrong?
I guess I'll just try and see if I can get Granny to take me there. She shouldn't say no....

The past few days have certainly been interesting... mostly fun, but I don't know if I can handle having soup EVERY lunch time for the next month! I guess this is Russia.

It's five in the morning. I woke up an hour ago, but I couldn't fall back to sleep. I turned on my laptop and power drugged (that's what I call it now) for a while, but it was uncomfortable to sit in that corner, so I decided to write. I'm so hungry! I tried looking in granny's fridge, but the inside is just scary. She makes really good food, but after looking in the refrigerator, I have no idea where it comes from.

As soon as Granny wakes up, I'll ask her about going to the HQ. I hope she'll agree. It's only a mile, after all. While I wait, I will entertain myself with a book. I'm glad I decided to bring one. I almost didn't because I thought I'd have good internet and Granny doesn't usually give me much free time anyway.

....Same day, later:

I shouldn't have said that. As luck would have it, Granny has had me working all day. I guess she was going easy on me because of my jumbo-lag, but now she figures I've adjusted enough. First she had me make my bed (Seriously? I'm gonna sleep in it anyway), then she had me peel potatoes for about three hours (my hand still hurts!), and after that I had to sweep and mop the floor to clean up the mess I'd made, so now I'm even tireder (more tired?) than I was when I first got here. And guess what? I had soup for lunch. Again!

However! Today wasn't altogether that bad. I did manage to get granny to agree to take me to the Tanki HQ tomorrow. I have no idea what I'll do  there, but I'm too curious not to go. I guess I'll just see how things play out. If the message does turn out to be false, and there actually aren't any criminals there... well, at least I'll have gotten to see the Tanki HQ. Still, I hope I'm right and there are. (Sorry Devs)

Well, that brings today's writing to a close. Farewell.

Today is the day! Tanki HQ here I come! Granny is just getting ready, and then we'll be off. I wonder how we'll get there? She doesn't own a car. My parents own two, so I've never taken public before, but I guess that's what we're gonna have to do.

I'm here again. It's the same day, but a later time. I just got back from my little "expedition". Granny and I did end up taking public transportation--this red and yellow Soviet tram that was hardly fit to have raced against a turtle. I was a bit nervous to get on when I saw it, but after a long and bumpy ride, we finally got to our destination. And guess what? I was right. Not everything is at it seems with Tanki. Not at all.
