Why I don't play with Generalissimos

So I was playing some short sandbox CTF's. The rank limits were . Midway through, a warrant officer made a very stupid decision to click the "Play" button in the lower right hand corner... First of all, hello, use your damn brain. If you're going to play with lieutenants and majors, bring a M2 combo, not your noob M0 Thunder/M0 Hornet. I don't care if you're actually playing, trying to cap flags, or even drugging, but seriously, just leave. He didn't do a damn good thing to my team and I later switched to Mammoth to defend. I was waiting forever for the downvote thing to show up, but it never did.

So, I just wish that Tanki could change the rank limits or at least make it a requirement to have a certain M combo to join specific battles. Like in the battle mentioned above, only M2 combos would be accepted. To relate this to the title and what I said above, I think it's BS that WO5's can play with Generalissimos. Even if you're using M2 Isida/M2 Mammoth and healing everyone, do you not realize that a M3 Isida/M3 Mammoth would be more effective than you?

Well, that's the way it is... but come on... at a WO1 rank, all I do when I play higher ranks is be a 24/7 healer. Nobody hates me cause well... I'm healing you... duh!  :D

I'm not saying that everyone has M2/M3. I mean that say, if there's a team battle up to WO5, make it a requirement to use a M1 combo or something. And not everyone will be as capable as me? Then why would they join? Do they not have any consideration?

Ask them kindly, and hope they will leave. You cannot force them, since everybody starts with low rank and a bad combo.

I know I cannot force them, and everyone starts with a low rank/low combo. But did that WO3 really not find a battle up to WO3, where he had a chance of doing better?

This is not illegal. Yes about your idea, i also want something like that like there would be M1 M2 M3 extension. For example M1 battles are only for M1/M1 or M1/M0. M2 combo is like M2/M2 and M2/M1. And M3 so on.... But you cannot force someone to leave. You can either ask politely to leave or tell to play seriously.

I am the cheap man who bought a kit. Ok. They wanted me to have a faster tank? The first battle I used Freeze/Hornet. Second battle, Thunder/Viking. Third I used Mammoth... There were enough Hornets on our team so idk what you're saying. As for kit buying, not my problem that the other players can't afford one.

It is not there fault. You should tell devs about it instead of going crazy at him. He can join so he joined, I know it is really really awkward when there is mult at your team,(opponents love it when there is a mult or a noob with lower combo  :P )

One time i was in a battle with a major who had an m0/m0 combo... Sometimes i just dont know why mults ruin the game for everyone

there would be no use of buying m3s if there were special batles for m1/m1, m2/m2, m3/m3... :D playing with m3s against m3s.. is same as using m2s against m2s and etc. etc. with m1s and m0... only difference would be the gaming time ;) think about that ... P.S. i am talking only about random batles..

Man, this doesn't relate to a Generalismo at all.. Also, everyone starts with a bad combo and you can't force anyone out of a battle.. Mabey if someones multing you should actually report them.. Posting pictures on the forum will do nothing.. If you really want to show a personal opinion just post under the GamePlay section possibly..

I don't mean to be funny or anything... but this topic is kind of pointless. If he wanted to join the game, he joined. Nothing wrong with it, whether he did anything for your team or not. He just wanted to play. I don't see the reason as to why you needed to make a complaint about this. Let alone that, if this was a Mult case, it'd have to be in the Violations section with some actual proof that he was being a Mult. If you didn't like it so much, you could've just left. Nothing was stopping you, and it could've saved you the trouble. It's practically a free game, I'd say deal with it.

 

Again, I don't mean to be offensive or anything like this; just a guy stating his opinion about this "issue".

1. That vote to kick option isn't implemented in small maps like Sandbox.
2. You decided to join that battle, if a wo3 is allowed to join, he simply is allowed to join. If YOU don't like that, you can join other battles, where the rank requirements are as you want them to be.

3. If you want to do something about mults, record them or use the /vote [nickname] option, that's what it's for.

I do remember, except I didn't join higher-ranked battles nor did I ruin the game for others.

This doesn't relate? To me, a WO1 on my team is equivalent to me on a team with Generalissimos. You are a WO4, and how would you like it if a bunch of sergeants showed up on your team with M0 Firebird/M0 Wasp/No paint?

I decided to join that battle, true. But how many battles are from WO5 to Colonel? Not a lot. And that's not including the people who have the right rank for a M2 but don't have it.

Well Bayern regardless of what you think, that guy had the right to join the battle - He worked hard to get to that rank & joining that battle and failing (as you say), he was able to see his mistake and potentially rectify it next time by not joining such battles. The lesson /teaching he / she (No Sexism)  received was not to join higher rank battles as getting his tank smashed into pieces numerous times must have provided him with a real insight to what high rank battles will be like.

Bayern, you cannot be confident, that you have annoyed higher ranked people.

 I honestly wouldn't mind, nor would I care. It's not hindering my gameplay, so why should it concern me?

yeah - with an M0 Isida
