Next time, Raph, I'd recommend ending the contest and closing this topic once five players have done the contests. Scrap the 5k crystals for everyone idea, it's not worked IMO due to people abusing it. That's their own fault if it gets removed. Also, forbid the first five from entering alts (i.e. ignore entries which are made on another account owned by the same player).

 

For example, next time it could work like this:

 

1st: GoldRock

2nd: GoldRock2 - entry disqualified due to alt

3rd: GoldRock3 - entry disqualified due to alt

2nd: gazatron30

3rd: canadarules

4th: eragon33

5th: BlackBandit - entry disqualified due to alt

5th: XtremeXecution

I got 6th due to someone entering an alt, I should have been 5th. Obviously people with low ranks should be disqualified, because they are probably alts. Also the problem with this is that people can like register other people for the crystals, so basically if you ask someone, he doesn't even have to do anything, just ask someone to register you for the crystals. Anyways eragon33 was not 4th -_-

btw I registered my alt happypants :D Also you can never know who is an alt and who isn't. People with low ranks are more likely to  be alts, though.

I'm stumped by this. I can't get the password for the dl-protect thing. I've tried names (real and tanki account) for the first contributors (Our stories in issue 1), and Bruce Lunga and almighty01 as that's who kicked off the newspaper according to history articles. I've found something from Cablaz saying he dreamed about tanki too, but that isn't it. I've searched the forum, the helpful newspaper summary. There are a few mentions of dreams, like dream teams and a story "The Dreamer". Sandbox is mentioned - that map was created by "Clan S.N.K.", but that, and a zillion variations of that, don't work either. And I found the fiction story in issue 1 about Prehistoric tanki, edited this month by Raphael2, although I now see in the comments that that's irrelevant. There's clearly alliteration with 'l' (last long lines etc.). And birds singing? Is this meant to be a play on words because it's like birds singeing, i.e. birds on fire, i.e. firebird?

 

I've tried all sorts of things that I think could sensibly fit, but none of them do.

 

Help? Just a little nudge in the right direction please?
