Personally I would say no; As a forest is an area that is covered with a profusion of trees, just my opinion though.

Definition of 'Forest': A dense growth of trees, plants, and underbrush covering a large area.

It all depends upon your perspective...If you were a small creature, say a cricket, and there are two trees in your environment, I guess you might think so. Trees leave leaves, and leaves make compost, and compost causes vegetation to grow, which at your size would look like trees, bushes and dense undergrowth. However, you are not a cricket. You are a human being with a somewhat dynamically limited perspective on what is, and is not complicated. I know that may sound like an insult, but actually it's a complement (microbiology). From a human perspective. Two trees in a desert are not a forest, just as two tress in a meadow are not a forest. If you want to call it a forest, then you have every right to do so. After all, I'm sure that the person who first authorized the definition for forest has been long since pushing up daisies by know and wont mind. Nevertheless, if this is some kind of question for a school assignment, you might want to stick to what the textbook says. I'd hate to see you ruin the chances for your future, because of bad test grades. Fear not though, you can still think what you want, rest assured that you have the crickets covering your back.

Don't hurt yourself trying to figure it out now.

two trees is not even a group or copse of trees, a small wood is about 1/2 an acre, over 2 acres is a wood, a small forest is 10 acres, and a proper forest over 20 acres    ( 1 acre is the same size as a football pitch)

if you wish to learn more about woods and forests google  The Woodland Trust

You are being mislead, the real questions of life include what's better, ketchup or mayo? Cat or Dog? And what's correct between crisps/chips/fries? But most important, are cats plotting to conquer the world?

Answer = two trees are 2 trees.

Cats, obviously.

what's correct between crisps/chips/fries?

I don't care, as long as I can eat them....

But most important, are cats plotting to conquer the world?

Of course they are! They've already taken over the internet. Next stop, THE WORLD! Muahahah!
