DEFRAUDED BY Tankionline?

Tanki is NOT working properly & the help/support is NOT helping........ I am unable to kill other tanks, get flags, retain flags, get dropped items.... this is almost every other time after I have been killed.... I use power-ups every time so I am wasting much money and I have been DEFRAUDED by Tankionline apparently cause they seem to not care cause I have gotten not one response that is along the lines of helping me! I have spent over $1000.00 american dollars to build my grage & purchase power-ups over a few months, I am now at the rank of "GENERALISSIMO", however, I can NOT even play the game as prmoted or promised by Tankionline. Reply to MisterGeneral........ Ok, I am old & NOT tech savy, but I will attempt to answer your reply. I don't know about lag.... I have been playing since September 2013 and have changed NOTHING in my PC. I have added nor removed any programs and everything I have is still the same as when I first started as far I I am aware. This problem has just revealed itself in the last 2-3 weeks and progresively has gotten worse. I noticed when I would get a flag & be going to capture it, at times with no one around, nor any shots to me, my tank just drops, releases, the flag & I can/could NOT regain it. I then started trying this regularly and it would periodically do it..... then I realized I was having trouble killing much smaller tanks with less experience & no power-ups & when I tested to see if I could get a flag when this occured I could not. I also then realized i could NOT get any dropped items either when this is occuring! It does it innermitantly also, but it is worse at some times rather than at others. I contacted help/support & they said for me to clear flash player and so forth, well this took me some time to learn how to do, but I learned to clear my cache etc...., I unin-stalled my flash player & shokwave player and it did NOT fix it. I uninstalled Mozilla Firefox & re-installed it..... this did NOT fix it...... Now, understand that many replies from help/support have been NOTHING but standard, NON-helpful, NON-related responses to my problems thereby making me feel I am and have been defrauded.

 

Now, as far as my operating system, again you must understand I am NOT tech savy, but I printed off my PC's numbers, etc.... I have an HP Compaq dc5800, Microsoft Windows XP Pro version 5.1.2600 with a 3.0 Service pack, Intel Pentium III Xeon processor Current speed is 2990 MHz, Cache size 6144 KB, Memory 4 GB Hard drive 149.03 GB....... I use ATT U Verse highspeed broadband.......

 

Again, I have played since September 2013 and have only noticed this problem since the last 2-3 weeks....... i don't know about lag, but YES i have at times since I began playing had trouble from freezing and having to get out of a battle & get back in, but I have just dealt with it....... this problem is worse because it happens without me realizing it until I can't kill a little peon opponet, capture or retain a flag, or get dropped items.....

 

I did check the forum, I contacted help/support, I did everything everyone has reccomended, including the no help info I found from the forum, & the no help people from Tankionline help/support and I am still having the problem....

 

Finally, You speak of lags..... what is this and what can I do to correct it, if possible. Or, is there any way for me to know if this is the problem?

Try clearing your cache.

OK "DUDES".......... YES  I know how & HAVE cleared my cache and I am STILL having the problem...

 

I have now NOTICED others that have had the saw problem as me, dropping the flag for no reason, & I am sure, I now KNOW, this is happening to others......... I have NOW had other people respond to me that they too have noticed the same problem or similar problems!

 

OK Tankionline...................... ADMIT you have some serious technical problems, work to fix them, OR YES YOU ARE DEFRAUDING TANKI PLAYERS!

Relax! OK, 

Everyone is facing these problems not just you and Tanki is trying to fix them ASAP. 

So be patient. 

But for now, I would recommend, changing browser, clearing Flash & Browser's cache^ as said above. 

And please check your internet connection's speed and post your results here.

.Thanks for your response hisham2013..... I have done all the cache cleaning and other cleanings & checked by PC etc and have tried different browsers and even deleted my browser & reinstalled it...... all to no avail... Has someone from Tankionline told you they are aware of a problem? No one from Tanki has EVEN responded officially in anything more than a form response letter telling me to do what you told me to do....... all to no avail!?????

Tanki is aware of the problem, they've suspended the current clan tournament (See http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=185603&do=findComment&comment=3375560 ) and from what I've heard it's an issue for a lot of players. I guess we'll just have to wait for them to fix it, not much else we can do.

Wow, recently this also is happening to me, tanks move forward, then suddenly move right back. Tanks drive off cliffs, only to rise up back through the ground. I keep missing my shots, even with shaft -_-

Lagging is what happens when you think you are in the game, but actually you aren't active, for an example "Taking the flag but you can not hold it" "Walking over drops but you can not take them" "Shooting but no damage" this eventually after few minutes will get you removed from the battle and you'll need to refresh, the simple solution is to reload, sometimes it work sometimes it wont work.

Lag is caused either by slow internet connection, bad connection between you and tanki or just a bad/slow computer.

We have some solutions to avoid lag, minimize your screen by clicking " -  " button, disable the graphics and play on a lower quality (Remember that lower quality=higher performance/Higher quality=Lower performance) 

You may also try switching browser, or even try to run Tanki Online as a separate application.

If after several tries, and you see that there's no problem from your side but you still face lags and bad connection, please write to help@tankionline.com

Hi MisterGeneral & thanks for your reply, concern & trying to help..... I have done everything you have requested over the past two days & still have the problem at times ( course I tried to figure out how to run Tanki as a separate application, but this way above my intelligence level!).... I have also realized YES, at times I do have lag, but I am & have been aware of lag, this only seems to be a problem when I am on a server that is very full to capacity.... like I said in my posts, I just refresh or get out & go back to that battle or go to another one. 

 

However, the problems I have been experiencing are NOT due to lag, I DON"T believe........ they are a real Tankionline gliche, either on purpose gliche or something that has reared it's ugly head.... Others have responded to me & others have wrote of similar problems they are having lately, SO I KNOW IT"S NOT JUST ME.......

 

Lhamster, a forum moderator person wrote to me & says Tanki is aware of the problem & working on it. Soooooooooo, I am waiting to see if this occurs! I am just NOT going to spend much more money on the game now....... I have spent over $1500.00 since September 2013 building my tanks & garage, only to have Tanki change the parameters....... & now, since yesterday, Tanki has changed almost all the maps that I play most & I think, right now, I don't like the changes....... 

 

I am just waiting patiently, impatiently waiting, to see what happens!!!!

Hey ioiiioi I can understand your problems too.. In my case I had a very slow computer, and that with tanki's servers is just terrible lag. You need to make sure your computer isn't the problem though.

1) clear your cache

2) make sure you use Firefox with one add on --> faster fox

3) put your computer's power plan on high performance

4) turn off graphics in game.

5) uninstall necessary programs off of your computer

6) do a disk cleanup

7) defragment your computer

8) right click on control panel from the start menu. Go to performance. Change your visual settings for the best performance.

9) hide your desktop icons

10) make your tankionline screen smaller in game because it increases your performance.

11) search "ways to make Firefox faster" (using pipelining and some different codes. They really work.)

12) download any pending windows updates.

13 scan your computer for viruses which can make your internet very slow.

 

I've tried these things and my 6 year old laptop runs tanki no problem.

That problem happened to me. One night after the SU, I started playing with M0 rail/M0hornet. It was in a battle with only me when someone join with M0 dictator and m0 twins. I shot him twice and he didn't die. I got DP and he still didn't die and he was right in front of me. I tried to get his flag;I didn't pick it up and when I did it dropped.Pick-ups. Couldn't get them. Nothing. 

 

The next day I cleaned me browser history and I was fine and I'm relativity fine now. I was using Google Chrome. But also, when in my first weeks of playing Tanki, this would happen to me every battle. That eventually lead me to get Opera and it was perfectly fine. Sadly I had to un-install Opera. 

 

For you, I would get a new Pc and stop drugging. Problems like this are  just unfortunate.  :mellow:

This is happeneing to me, I am lagging sooo much on any server I go, I had 30-35 fps now I have a maximum of 13. About the drops and that, I am having a problem as well, when I pick something up, t gets delayed by 3 seconds then it comes. FIX THIS :angry:

this problem happend to me some times... its because of your net ping!!!! when is your ping is low you are like disconnected from game and flag drops automatically!!!! also sometimes ping is lower because of server load that may lag your gameplay and drop flag automatically... so the problem is "Ping" try to solve it
