Nah, if you're going to choose an Unforgivable Curse, I'd say Imperio - take control of someone and do what you like with 'em. Then try Obliviate to wipe their memories afterwards. Seems legit.

 

(EDIT) Also, Crucio's the second hardest spell to perform after Avada Kedavra - only the more accomplished could actually use it, whereas Imperio doesn't require so much skill/conviction.

If I recall, I don't think they remember any of it anyways. Very true about being second hardest to use. Harry was able to use Imperio, but was never able to use Crucio to much effect any of the 3 times he tried. Still think Crucio is better. Its so evil and heartless, whereas Imperio.... its just nasty.  :lol:

Well, people can tell when they've been Imperiused; rather than them not remembering it, they simply remember a confusion or blur of memories, it would seem. Just Obliviate 'em to be on the safe side xD Though yeah, got to agree that Crucio's pretty evil.

I've read both of them, and they are good books, but are not worthy of all the attention that they receive
