Yes some can, but like myself, most people buy only the amount they need for what they want to get. I only buy crystals for items like hull/turret modifications, paints, and the rare drugs and passes. Buyers who only buy drugs and/or packages are pathetic, impatient tankers who obviously want to make the game easy for them and harder for the rest of us.

People like you literally make me want to smash my head against the keyboard, but I won't do that. If it weren't for buyers, you wouldn't be able to play this game. The people who make the game have to get paid too, and guess where they get the money from? THE BUYERS! If it weren't for the buyers, the game wouldn't exist. So I suggest you start thanking all of those buyers for letting you play this game for free.

Only buy at sale like duck said... it will save you a lot of crystals...

Also, never buy drugs... I havent bought a single drug, I just collect them from Daily Gifts and I have over 650 of each (excluding first aid I have 200)

Another thing, participate in contests, especially the twitter ones. You can get up to 100k.
