man i just took a pic of a kid violating the rules and when i told him i was gonna post he begged me not to post begged for like about 30 minutes.. now that i posted it i kinda feel bad.maybe it was his first offense.should i have shown him mercy and not posted it. what do u guys think

post violators. they will learn from their mistakes that way. the sooner they learn they can't talk their way through things the less violators this game will have.

thats my opinion anyway.

I remember the first time I was banned. it was over-quoting in the forums. one week. I mean, of course no one wants to be banned, but after that I was re thinking my decision. I re-read the game rules and learned from my mistake. haven't been banned science and its all good with me :)

The new violations section system only makes me refrain from reporting, unless it's a serious violation.... If he promised never to do it again, at least add him to friends and if he repeats this, definitely report.

No he didn't do the right thing, you should pity people you don't know especially if they begged you or if their rank was low.

Also, don't waste 5 minutes of your life for just reporting 1 guy, those who report people a lot are called no-lifers, they can't hace friends.

I myself let people insult me in tanki, I don't waste my time on them unless they were enemies, in this case I take actions.

Mainly chatmoderators give not big bans for the first time (depending on the violation of course). If this was the first time, I think he was quite lucky. I must say that I skip reporting players as well. To report every minor violation in the chat is way too much work, you'd be busier reporting than playing. When I am online, I prefer to play. Second, if a player insults etc. Etc. He deserves to be reported and banned. But I don't feel like reporting some kid who said something bad, and is about to cry because he gets a ban for it. I am not that kind of harsh person.

 

I am not saying you are harsh! Don't take me wrong, you did your duty, and should not be let down for that!
