I dunno why but people think that us Canadians say "Eh" a lot. In fact, only people with strong old Canadian accent say such a thing, or we use it just for joking. Personally i almost never heard someone here say that, and i think its pretty much an old thing they did but nowadays, Nope.  ^_^
