Yes I am one of the few "OLDER players" I am 44 years old, and I love playing this game, and enjoy spending time with all of my friends here on tankionline.

I am no longer able to travel as a professional musician as I have for the past 20 years since being diagnosed with heart disease. So, while awaiting a heart transplant, about a year ago I started playing TANKI, and was hooked the first time I played, So now Everyday I spend 80% of my days and nights playing TANKI, and the ONLY negative experience that I have had on TANKI is due to the current system. With All Due Respect to The Tankionline administration, I feel that when you have NON-ADULTS "policing others" it will never work as a "Fair and Just System", allow me share a couple of my "Personal Experiences" with this "System"...

 

~ I have entered into a chat before and NOT EVEN TYPED 1 single word (I have witnesses) and gotten "flood warning" and then I type "why?" and guess what... yep "5 minute ban for flooding". This HAS happened to me a few times, and it can be verified by others who seen it themselves, Now tell me just "what is that about?" perhaps a MOD with personal issues abusing their power?

(and by NO MEANS am I implying this to "ALL MODS" because there are a couple of decent MODS that do the very best that they can within the system they are allowed to operate in, and KUDOS to them)

 

~ also I was also in a RIO ctf match, there were 1 player on the other team vs.me and someone else, The player on my team was apparently trying to sabotage me by blocking me in pushing me over the edge (obviously friends with the other player)...anyway, So I reported him via /vote: name, within 1 minute I was Banned for 24 hours for making a "false report", once again, What is THAT all about?

 

This is just a couple of issues that I as well as a few of my friends (and I KNOW that I speak for SEVERAL OTHER TANKI PLAYERS who remain silent) have had to "deal with", I never try to "plead my case", I just accept it and go on hoping to avoid it happening in the future, but that is kind of a difficult thing to do when all of this has been out of my control to begin with.

Now dont get me wrong, Im no angel by no means, there has been maybe 2 maybe 3 times AT THE MOST that I have gotten upset at the actions of chat trollers and may have used a choice word or two, and probably insulted them as well, I do apologize for making a bad decision at the time, but in my defense you will find that it was when I first started playing the game and really didnt understand "the system" (im not saying that excuses it, Im just being honest and accountable) other than that EVERYONE has "one of those days" every once in a while, I dont care how old or young or who you are things "happen" to all of us.

 

Anyway I feel making new harsher rules to a system that is BIASED makes no sense, Once the "BAN HAMMER" has swung, there is no "Timely Dispute System" and most of the time The MOD's word is superior against yours. The current VERY HARSH system is NOT FAIR to everyone (some more than others) and by making it even Harsher is NOT an improvement. I do however feel that there are SEVERAL of "other options" to improve the current system, but that is Just my humble Opinion.

Id like to share my story too.

Once, me and my friend got up on a saturday morning, hooked on skype and decided to play some 1x1. So while we were playing, a [spectator] appeared. He said hi, we did too, he asked what are we doing, we told him were playing some 1x1. Then he showed us the reason why he came there. He told us that its illegal to curse and use profanity in chat. We had no clue what he was talking about and we laughet cause we thought that was a joke. He banned my friend, then i understood he was serious. I asked "why?" But i didnt get an answer. I knew i was next so i just typed in "skype" to my friend and got banned for a day. I dont know why this happened all i know is that we didnt do anything wrong and that the mod was from my country. Id like to know how many lithuanian mods there are. I know MESKINAS and hes a chat mod so maybe it was him, yet you cant be sure. Still if he sees this, id like to ask again. Why?

well, sadly, this will force many players to abandone the game so in all youir carer  you will have violations for sure, considering that  the times/duradions of ban are extremely many,you will play this game for long then one day u will do the mistake again and wont be able to play anyomore for long so u will forget the game after that, addding game moderators with bas of 1 hoyr for first time 2 - 4 -8 -16- 24 and so on for minor violation and 24h for major violations shuld be ok  for repetitive ofenders this would go to 1 weeek, but not so many days, i dont know this shuld be rethought

Also, we`ve got 2 types of ban - those done by mistake and those done with good purpose. First one, should be checked carreafully so no one would lose playin time cause somebody done mistake. Second one, that should be serious. U done mistake, u cheated, done stpd sht, offended smbd - there`s a punishment. And those, who`re doing bad stuff should know that there`s no room for bad behavior.
