Guide: Rio Sniping Places

Dear Snipers, 

 

This guide is meant to show all players of Tanki the best and most overlooked sniping spots for the popular map; Rio. I'm using Railgun for this guide/screenshots, but Shaft is also usable for most of the places. With each screenshot of the position, I'll include an accessibility rating from 1 to 5 (1 being very easy to get to, 5 being very difficult), and defense rating from 1 to 5 (1 being very easy to get shot to 5 being impossible to get shot). That being said, let's begin. 

 

Red Team: 

 

 

Accessibility: 2

Defense: 1

Info: From either slope of this small roof you can snipe players coming in from the beach, directly in front of you, you can shoot players who are spawning through the gap in the two buildings directly in front of you, and even shoot players coming in on the street from the right side. 

 

 

Accessibility: 1

Defense: 3.5

Info: These is a nice sniping spot, especially since it's on of the few who can shoot players near

the blue flag. 

 

Accessibility: 1

Defense: 4

Info: This is a nice spot to defend the flag and snipe tanks coming down the road on the left and coming up the ramp to the right.

Blue Team:

Accessibility: 3

Defense: 2

Info: From here you can snipe enemies coming from the right side of the field (This doorway is just the right height for rail + hornet/wasp). If you turn your turret around, you can also shoot enemies coming in from the road. 

 

Accessibility: 1 

Defense: 2

Info: A nice spot to snipe down tanks hanging out around their flag. 

 

Accessibility: 1

Defense: 3

Info: A great spot for sniping enemies coming down the left road. 

 

For now, that's all the screenshots I have. More coming, along with some spots I bet you've never though of. Sorry the whole thing isn't released, I had to get a start now and add on later. Obviously, there's quite a few more spots to snipe from, but hopefully these will help you along with our sniping. I hope you've enjoyed my first, short guide. =D
