Electric car

Hello! I am IRL designing private electric car. I have all planned, but the most important thing. The engine. I have designed a car that makes 500w - 3000w it self. SO the question is: How much does a average electic engine need power to move 500-600kg car? Please if you have ANY experience please comment.

Ask a mechanical+electrical engineer. I hardly doubt you will find any one of them here. You will mostly find programmers here, but they won't be of much use in that. Good luck, and nice project btw.

 

 

However I think an electrical mechanism works in hybrids. So if you know how it works, it probably helps.

I had something like this in exam except there were two cars. They had some sort of relation such as Acc of car 1 is 2.8 times the other: if they start at the same point blah blah blah....
