A newb or a newbie is a new person to something that has no idea what to do or what he's doing. That is a recruit.

 

 

A noob, on the other hand is the person who really sucks at something and they know what they're doing.

 

So they must use handicaps and things that help them. They can't fight without a three extra arms.

 

What a noob really is appears as a person who can't go it alone.

 

New players are not to be insulted from the level of skill, since they just started.

 

A noob is to be insulted because he can't fight without something holding him up.

 

I don't feel the need to simplify anymore. I don't need to answer the question because... Well, what I think is what is actually what everybody should think.

i believe you should remove low rankers and recruits from the vote because they are simply newbies, there is a huge difference between a newb and a noob, noob is generally taken offensively in the gaming community as a whole.

Noobs are people who can't use their drugs effectivefly... they start drugging right at the beginning of the game; drug when you are definitely gonna lose; drug when the fund is tiny.... etc

To me NOOB means newbie or new player. So buy this classification. Only new players are noobs.  Now players who do not know how to play well are not noobs, they are just bad players.

Classifying Drug/supplies users is a little more complex then just saying "noob". Do they need to use them, can be debated all day. Everyone uses supplies, and to say they do not would be a lie. Sometimes you have no choice but to use supplies. Are you just going to sit there and get killed every few seconds or are going to use supplies and survive? Some say "It is not fair to use supplies, I don't have any".  Last time I checked they get supplies too so where did they go? Oh wait, I know they used them. So I guess we are all noobs then.  If you went to war and you had a choice to use strong bullets or weak bullets which would you chose?

Supply use has increased a lot since the last re balance. Why? Because the hulls are TOO weak, and people hate to die every few seconds. So what do we do? We switch to mammoths or use supplies. Ever wonder why there are so many mammoths around lately.

I, as well as others, hate being called a noob. After playing for the last year I AM NOT A NOOB, I may not be a great player but I'm certainly not a newbie. Maybe we should just call it like it is. "You are a stupid player and your skills are bad."

Its because you have a life, not because you're a noob. Its an accomplishment to play tanki for 3 years with captain rank, meaning you have alot of experience. Also to alts.

once i was playing in tanki and someon wanted to take or flag but i killed him he did it  like for 5 times and then he was raging and he called me a pussy noob and i was laughin cuz when i killed him he started swearing and then he got banned :P
