Advertisements

Few days back, my browser randomly had a lot of advertisements. I tried the old way of removing it by going into extensions and deleting it however the option was not there (the advertisement extension). I have advertisements all over the page. Below bookmarks bar. On main page of tanki forum. On other sites. On corner of page, etc.

Help.

Adblocks are not the solution to such problems. It is like painkillers which will just take away the symptoms and fool you that you are healthy now. The ads can be because of 2 things. 1) Check your browsers extension, if you find something fishy then delete that. 2) Check your control panel for recently installed programs because some extra stuff gets installed with the main program and causes ad floods in the browser.

Look for these names in your extension list and in your control panel/installed programs

Thanks, most of the ads are removed. Don't close it yet though, I will see if any ads are still there.

EDIT: I still see advertisements. :( Looks like I will have to delete something in control panel again...
