Star Ladder has it's good points. Rank of teams and of players is good. But we could have done this with out SLTV . From a social aspect it is terrible. From an international support aspect it is also terrible. This is why I'm really pushing so hard to keep our clan pages. Cybersport could have easily done what SLTV does. But when money is involved logic goes in the trash.

Seriously this is Tanki......The english community came up with cybersport. we should be able to decide on our own on what we can not do or what we can do with it....it is the players playing not the developers. we could just boycott it if we want to teach them a lesson

Starladder may work for MOBA games like LoL and DotA2, but for Tanki it seems to be tailored just for the Russian community and not the English community.

For tournaments and organization of battles, StarLadder is much more organized. It is a huge step forward for serious players.

As far as the clan system in the Forum, it is obsolete as far as tournaments go, the existing clans should all be moved into one topic and be considered more as social groups, if they wish to continue having access to them. Clans that are involved in StarLadder should have a new dedicated Forum for teams to showcase their achievements and recruit new players linked to the StarLadder site, they may link their social group on the Tankionline forum if they wish.
