Try putting the skype proof that its his skype when he asks you to add him or something... maybe tanki will do something ....

You need to have definite proof that it is someone in tanki. you have to try talk in tanki a bit and so.

I know this as I reported a former forum mod - stormbringer1995 trying to hack, still my friends acc got blocked for abusing tanki rules.

So make sure you have tons of info and stuff.

You guys are so pathetic to even to even do such a thing. I only share my account with my brother and that is because he is someone in my family who I can trust. Passwords shouldn't even be given out to cousins or anything like that, let alone a stranger on tanki. Next time I think you should be more careful, giving or allowing your self to become a victim of hack is not a very suitable action.

 

In conclusion, buying crystals is the only way to get crystals in large amount :)

Am I reading this right. A Guy offers to give you a hack so you can get free crystals..... you down load it and you get Hacked and your account is lost....... lol.... That's great.... that will teach you. Then you complain to tanki online and expect them to sort out the mess you got yourself into by breaking the rules trying to use a hack.....lol.... I must be reading this wrong because no one can be that dumb.

the guy does not offer you hack, just a "GOLDBOX" picture but before anyone notices that it is a file it is to late.

the passwords were not sheared. the hacker used a cookie stealer which was in the file downloaded causing him to receive saved passwords on his PC. based on that i would say the hacker made the program him self and is a professional hacker

Yeah just imagine your Best friend sending you a file ..... you would accept that right ? If you would have noticed ..... this started the same way... and if you accept that file you are just as good as dead .

You are not screwed if you can realize that a photo, sent by Skype, can't be called "GoldBoxpic.exe", but it should be called "GoldBoxpic.jpg" for example; it is really, really obvious that all files under ".exe" extension might be dangerous, if you are not carefull enough on Skype, Tanki Online can't do anything about it, we can only make sure you won't hack/be hacked on Tanki Online sites/services.

In any case, this is not different at all from getting scammed on Chat and Forum by clicking bad links: you click them or accept to download something that is obviously malicious and then you lose all your accounts, not only Tanki Online one, but ALL your internet accounts.

 

The first thing to note down is that to be on internet you should be mature enough not to add peoples you don't know and, if you add them, never accept to dowload or visit links given by them if those peoples can not be trusted.

Internet is not a place for peoples that are not carefull to what they do, to be on internet you MUST ALWAYS BE carefull at all your actions, otherwise you will face consequencies.

At the end of the day you shouldn't be blaming staff because your account is your responsibility, if you do not have the common sense to not accept files from people you don't know then wow, you guys really have no hope. I don't even accept files from people without asking them a question to see if its really my friends. I mean how can you not see that it's not your friend talking?! you are grown , tell me , is Tanki for people who are Computer engineers or who are always into file types and all ? i think this game is played for fun and i am not saying its tanki's fault , but don't call people stupid if they accept a file , there are little kids who are good with the game and bad with the tech , There could also be a picture hack nothing in this world is impossible , the links you send us are like t.co etc etc , sometimes its about youtube and not even twitter , you cannot safeguard your account unless you just trust no body and thats really not a solution , Its a game, we are supposed to enjoy it not to feel endangered that we may lose our account
