It's changed a lot over the years. When I first started the game (2011/12), it was originally Freeze/Hornet/Spark, and then Hornet got replaced with Viking. I stopped playing actively in 2013, came back briefly in 2014, and left again shortly after the new year (2015). After that point I never really played actively (maybe a couple battles when I'd go visit my cousin every couple years or so), so a dream tank was never really a consideration. I came back to the game officially in 2019, and by that point the number of paints had exploded. At that point it was just a matter of turret/hull combinations. As you can see with this old post of mine, Firebird/Hunter was my dream combo (that's because it was my main combo at the time ). Once I got up into the higher ranks, I started branching out to other turrets and hulls. Now that I have a lot of maxed-out items, dream tanks aren't really a thing for me anymore. The closest thing to a dream tank now is probably a dream paint or a dream augment. I actually have a list of dream animated paints:

I remember the days when I worked towards getting my dream tank: Viking - Thunder - Emerald (with the equipment being upgraded to M3 or M4). Those players with this combo were always a huge threat. Plus, they looked so good. It's probably my most used combo.

Dream Tank = M4 Smoky + M4 Hunter + Spinner paint + M0 skin.

I've had this for a while now, and Spinner for a very long time, but only got it to 9999 GS recently, and have only had Trickster since Black Friday (it's at 19/20)... it makes Berlin feel like a small map

No M0 skins sadly, but Hunter Prime is close

I still like Spinner, but don't use it any more; White is my MM paint now

I have five accounts so I've got most of the animated paints I want on at least one account now, but I want First Kiss more than any other paint

For me it was long time ago Rico mammoth M3 and Zeus paint, strongest combo back then. Now that I got Rico LC, all that I need is Mammoth LC...

It was and always will be hornet railgun xt with emerald. Emerald looks kinda like an esports paint, so it is my default for xpbp now. Looks kinda like veteran feel

But thanks for reminding me about this thread, getting the LC skins for Hunter and Smoky has improved my dream tank

With Quantum Camo it looks like something from Tron : Legacy

Back in 2018 (when I was at warrant officer ranks): M4 shaft and titan with moss paint.

Still don't have M4 shaft and still don't have moss paint.

Currently (August 2022): I have a few actually...

Firebird with hunter/viking/dictator M4 with inferno paint

Freeze and viking M4 with ibris paint (I got toxic mix for freeze recently, so it is pretty OP right now)

Striker/Shaft/Twins and titan M4 with needle or moss paint.

Any of the previous combos with the following paints counts too: Halloween, Hallucination, Spreading fast, Chemical reaction, Hypercube, Invader, Hand sanitizer, or Hohloma.
