The results are out!

 

Yes, that's right - at long last, the winners have been revealed. Congratulations to everyone who won a prize; there was a good standard of entries overall, well done to everyone who entered!

 

In first place, and winning the grand prize of 40,000 crystals, we have...

An Isida wearing Zeus has absorbed the power of the god, Zeus. The ruler of the skies, and ruler of all, will soon prove his power.

He plays at the feeble mind of the feisty Firebird. 

Within their metallic hearts, it is inevitable they have lost. 

As the blue team sees red, the sky remains blue and crisp for Zeus is not threatened nor wrathful.

The halted twin proves to be obedient, and halts; the other seeks power and continues.

In Zeus's anger, he releases a single bolt across the skies...

He wickedly grins and approaches the post as punishment.

In second, and winning 30,000 crystals is...

Silently, swiftly, Firebird stalked his prey, embracing the shadows with cold, brutal determination. He had one thing in mind, he could only have one thing...

The isida must not reach its target.

The weight of the moment bore down upon him, but didn't shake him. Fortitude met courage as he realised that everything was at stake.

Time drew breath as the climax approached. Onlookers froze, knowing that they were powerless- judgment rested on the unpredictable shoulders of fate.

But through the blazing flames, what he saw crushed all hope.

Promise became resignation in a flash of white lightning.

Zeus.

And narrowly taking third place, earning a significant 20,000 crystal prize is...

15 seconds left, darting through the buildings.

The Firebird pursues me, the demonic glow of its flames scorching my chassis.

The Shaft tracks me, its gaze a ray of death, its talons closing over me.

The Twins, their blinding orbs each bringing me closer to becoming a melted wreck.

What am I, but a lone Isida?

Nobody left to help me.

Nothing left to help me.

I close my eyes and keep driving forward.

I expect to hear a sound, the disappointed, insignificant ping of defeat.

I do hear a sound.



The resounding, brilliant trumpets of victory.
