FPS issues

Ok, I've had this problem for a long time now, and I have done all the things posted in the forum about these types of issues but to no avail. What happens is my FPS will be right around 40, but will suddenly fall down to about 8-10 for a split second. Most of the time it happens while I'm about to shoot, or just for no reason whatsoever. These spikes occur every 10 seconds to 2 minutes. I'll include my computer specs as well.

MacBook Pro A1260

OSX V. 10.8.5

2.5 GHz Intel Core 2 Dup

2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

250GB HD (120 free)

It's because some programs working on the background also uses internet connection. If it happens in every 2 minutes, it means it's something like a messenger or mail that refreshes itself. And your internet connection speed is slow, that is why even when another program uses a little bit connection, it causes lot's of lags. Remove unneded plugins, extensions and close the programs that may use internet during the gameplay. Close Java also, it uses internet connection too. Hope it'll solve your problem.

My internet speed is pretty slow, that may be another cause

My speed test result is here

yup if you have slow internet connection game will lag, like said it's probably cause of some backgroud working program's. You can follow his advice, and if that do not work try restarting your router.

Filip out!!!

If you have tried everything and nothing worked, why haven't thought it was because you have such low internet download speed? Trust me speak with your internet administer and tell him to increase you speed, and avoid Wifi connections because it actually reduces the speed a bit.

First of all change your flash plug to v.13 or lower.

Then go to the program RUN in start menu or search for it

Type there %temp% to go to your temporary internet files:

and then after you delete all stuff there again type "prefetch" in run and go delete all files there too.

Then go to My computer>Right click>Properties> and in the side there is Advanced System Setting>Click it and under performance category there is another option called setting.Go to it and select Adjust for best performance.jAbBONe.png

From this your computer theme will look so classic and old like my one.Don't care it.I got best performance by this and no lags and judders in in graphics when playing games.FPS and PING will increase and please clean your cache and uninstall unwanted files in PC so you will make space too.

Try it.Sometime it will work  ;)  :)

BTW good luck in the battlefield!

Best Regards!
