Nice idea!! One problem ... Lets say an isida joins a battle ... The isida is keeps healing in the base, he doesn't go out to kill he just heals the team in the base ... He gets a low D/L and gets kicked ... Now, do you have an idea on how to help this dilemma? Or does not healing and not killing with isida count as multing? He is helping the team in his own way yet he isn't killing ... Is that a mult or not? Idk D: U tell me

Very good. However, I have found that the majority of the players who were overwhelmed by "raiders" during the "team kick" system, who were nothing more than friends with each other (rigging the games); did not have the focus (because of the moment) to use the vote properly. This caused a lot of innocent players being bumped, and the jacking up of the battle fund, which the "raiders" would split as those innocents were kicked. I know you've put much effort into your proposal, but to me, it seems it's implementation during a raid would be more complex to operate than the old kick system. From a technical perspective however, the developers might gain some ideas. I think an "Auto-Kick" system would greatly simplify matters, for all to have more fun playing experience during the games.

Why are you talking like my suggestion is anything like the old one? It's not complex at all and it's designed to protect. The revised team-kick suggestion I proposed should be viewed as the primary tool for combating players who are ruining a battle. Seems like for all my effort you haven't given me the time of day because you've clearly not understood the concept if you're talking about the old one.

Your Auto-kick idea is far too harsh and I don't agree with Canadian_eh's take on it either.

While I agree in principle that an auto-kick is needed, it has to be done right and it should be used to compliment, or in conjunction with, other measures.

I'd only have auto-kick enabled for any player for the first 5 minutes after entering a battle.

If they don't score in that time then they are auto-kicked.

If players are not scoring or multing after that then use the revised team-kick.

It doesn't need to have all manner of complicated provisions for this and for that. Keep it simple and make it viable.

Well, what solutions have you got for those, who stand back to guard the flag? Let's say a freeze standing back to protect the flag. If no enemies come within 2 minutes that freeze will be kicked out of the game

P.S: Can someone tell me how to put "vote" options?

I don't need to see them to say that they play with Isida. It is obvious. And when you play with Isida, you heal more than you destroy but make points in both cases.

I would say that the last one in red team is most likely a mult. And the last one in blue team has just joined the game and probably not there yet

Here is an example of a game I just came from. These players should be remove with an automatic system.

And how did these players with such low scores make it to the rank their at now?????

I suspect he did not understand how the system works from a players point of view. What will they see? and What will they have to do to vote?

The highlighted section is actually a good point. Your system has the human element which can detect things a simple formula can not. Maybe player X is contributing to the battle and his team mates recognize this and do not vote for him. If the "Auto-Kick" where active it may just wrongly kick player X.  I think a re-think is in order. Stay Tuned......

I'm glad you brought this point up. This is how we work together to improve upon our proposals. What I would like to see happen in this case. is for the developers to make a safety zone on or around the perimeter of the flag. This way when the base guard's warning icon flashes he/she can drive to the safety zone and restart their timer. I think this is possible, because their are other zones on maps.

Nothing is written in stone as of yet. Input from everyone can only help to improve upon these proposals. Ultimately it will be up to the developers to take our information and make a workable solution, to solve this problem.

Please don't take this personally. I did give you the time of day in my brief reply. It isn't that I do not understand your concept, but that the average player may not be as technical. I really would like to see a simplified explanation on how your system would be put to practical use on the battlefield. For example. If you had a room full of 10 year old's. How would you explain to them how to use your kick system.

The example I gave involving "raiders" with the old system, is still a reality. In a "rigged game" you have the top players (friends) dominating both teams. They install mults, and saboteurs on the side they want to loose. The unwitting victims of their "rigging" begin to play. All seems to be going well. And then the drug raid begins. The team chosen to loose does not have a chance to fight back let alone cast a kick vote. And with the top players of the score card (on both sides) who rigged the game from its start, in command of this whole charade now kick voting all below them so they can reap the lions share of the reward. You have a lot of innocent players out with nothing to show for their efforts.

You state that the proposed Auto-Kick system is harsh. Well so is theft, because that's exactly what is going on. And that makes it bad for all those who really want to have fun playing this game. Please don't think that I am against you. I think we are all on the same page. We wan't to find a solution to this problem. One that everyone, even those who are not so technical can understand.

Sorry if there are mistakes in my reply. I'm running on solar batteries and trying to type as fast as I can.

I've added a simple line on how to use it to the topic. Nobody needs to be technical. If you see an icon then you can click it.

They'll never go to all this trouble. It has to be simple. This would be difficult to realise.

Keep it to 1 single solution.

If a player joins and doesn't score in the first 5 mins then he is auto-kicked was my original contribution above.

Anything else will involve too many "if this then thats" because there are too many scenarios to consider and cater for.

eg, It would be good to have a 10 minute rule. No score in 10 minutes then you're auto kicked.

But cue all the "what if" scenarios that will entail.

What if there is 1 player on red and 10 on blue and some blues can't make a score. Are they kicked?

So then you have to add another rule, and then another and another until it's a complete mess.

Start off small and get the idea accepted. Tanki can always add to it later.

You really do need to redesign that front page.

Don't get me wrong, I will support auto-kick regardless but please give it every chance of succeeding by listening to the advice I have given.

This brings another question.. What if mults use safety zone too? How are you planning to differ mults using safety zone from those who are guarding the flag ? This way mults will also restart their timer when the warning comes.  Just go back to the base on safey zone and that's it. If this option comes, it seems to me that kick will never work

And what we think as being too much trouble for the developers to implement, is their paid job to implement those more difficult tasks. Especially, when crystal theft is involved.

And, as for “too many ‘if this than that’s’?” as you put it. I think the developers will take a good look at the proposals we have presented, and master a workable solution to this game rigging, which is at the very basis of ”multing”...The “if this than that’s” can go on forever. No system will be completely perfect, but doing nothing will only result in the game becoming less enjoyable for those of us who crave a decent game play.

P.S. I have included a link to your topic on my topic post.

A mult coming back to base to restart its timer is easier to /vote, or “Kick” than one hiding in the bushes. As for players on the opposing team who do the same? During the heat of battle, this scenario would give the “attacking team” an advantage. I’m sure most of us have been in a situation were the opposing attack force has backed down. And those who do that will still have to fight it out, when the attacking team descends upon their base. I really don’t think any system will be completely perfect, but its better than no system at all.

Here's my current thinking.

  • a 5 minute "auto-kick"  --- less than 10 points you will be removed. --- it deactivates after 5 mins of you joining a battle  ---ADDED> additionally I would suggest disabling a players ability to grab blue boxes during this time frame.
  • after 5 minutes the "team-kick" activates (go read that topic for details of how it works, but basically, if a clickable icon appears beside a name you can vote to kick that person. There are many rules in place to prevent misuse and abuse.)
  • both systems can be switched off at "battle creation time" with an icon to indicate it is off, for joining players. This satisfies parkour and training etc.

The Auto-Kick will take care of pure mults. The team kick will take care of everything else. With these 2 systems in place "/vote" becomes more effective. "/vote" will take care of the things that a "Kick System" can not. (cheaters and hackers).

No kick system can deal with raiders but /vote can, if it is even against the rules.

Disagree with the system, some guys just cant accumulate points on different random time scales, and you cant force that on them

just for the first 5 minutes.

I was going to ask you if you prefer mults and sabotuers in your games, but I read another post where say that sabotage is uncommon to you. I guess you can't see it or are doing it yourself. But for many players, we have had enough and are making an attempt to do something to make the game better for the majority.

I really think, if the developers choose to go with both Auto-Kick and Team-Kick, Instead of just Auto-Kick alone. That the deactivation time should be set for 6 minutes, instead of 5. This way, the initial proposal of 3 minutes to score will not change. And as stated in my topic post note. If the developers think the time frame (3 minutes) is too short they can adjust it accordingly. I have put a link to your post and the Team kick post. So that all proposals can be reviewed. As for crystal boxes. It will be up to the developers to configure whether or not that is possible.
