Intermittent Keyboard issues - Tab, Delete, and F stop responding

Good day,

I would like to thank the Tanki Dev community for all of you hard work.
I have a small yet annoying issue that I wish to make sure gets reported.

I and many other players have been experiencing intermittent keyboard problems.

This started 2 weeks ago.. but have been more frequent in the last 4 days. 

    This tends to occur about 1 time every 2-3 hours

 

Description:

• The Tab, Delete and F keys stop responding.
• Drive, turret, and view keys continue to function.
• A refresh or restart returns normal function
• Typical Tanki care and maintenance ( cache clearing etc) have had no lasting effect.

So far I have been able to establish via chat that this issue:

• happens to players all over the world
• affects all browsers and the standalone flash projector

Neither I nor any of the folks I have talked to have been able to define any action that causes this anomaly.. 

 

I am a seasoned computer tech, use the standalone flash projector, and have a rocking PC.

You have probably got ghosting keyboards like most of the people do. Ghosting keyboards don't allows you to use more than 2-3 keys (sometimes more) at the same time. The only solution is to buy a new USB connectable unghosting keyboard.

Note: ghosting keyboards have nothing to do with Tanki.

I have been having this problem as well, when I am typing my tank moves and shoots. Tab doesnt open, or I can't press delete. Many people who I know are having this. The only way I know how to fix this is to go to friends list and close it.

Yes i get this sometimes. Refresh your page or click on garage then return back to your normal in game battle screen. Both ways work for me  :)

Or just click on friends, then go back to game. Tab, F and Delete work again.

When you load into a battle, not only is your tank being loaded, but a number of controls that the server reads and communicates back to your account. When these controls load, sometimes, a few controls just get dropped off, and do not end up loading. So I would concur with others that the ultimate solution is to reload/refresh the Tanki Online web page, but I thought it might make more sense to you if you understood the mechanics behind your issue.
