Deleting locked topics

This could clear up a lot of space in the forums. I was reading the General section when I saw that many players had opened topics for small things in the wrong place. Hopefully, moderators will do this. 

(And not lock down this topic.)

It is true that their are some small things, that might do with clearing.  However the Moderators often lock down topics that show any decent or make request that they do not want to consider.  If they removed completely those as well, it would be a complete blow for any semblance of democracy on here.  It is often beneficial to scan quickly over locked topics to see what was going on and what the politics might have been or the particular point someone might have been making.

Its a good idea,  created a topic months ago it was locked/closed, checked it a few days ago it was gone!

I prefer to keep the locked topics so that they remain searchable.  This offers several advantages.

- You can see if an idea was declined in the past

- People who make a topic know why it disappeared, without any information they go on they would simply remake the topic.

- Problems and solutions section locks topics once they are resolved.  This information is invaluable for future users with similar problems.
