self-destruct cancellation

on tanki online the self destruct is quite usefull but you'll should also put a button to cancel the self destruct as sometimes when doing team  battles and your flipped upside down u press dlt but then your team mate comes along and helps you up and then you die, so that means your teamates hard work was for nothing, so can we get a button to cancel a self destrcut

I agree.  I try to help my flipped teammates for what?

I also agree and in addition reasonize this by the ability to cancel accidental hits of the del key (at least in my laptop the del key is too close to the arrow keys).

Canceling the Self Destruct Penalty is EVEN BETTER, I 'm sick and tired to loose a kill everytime i flip over a rock...  -_-

good idea definitely needed as when u already have pressed the self destruct button and when teammate helps u get back up and when u do flip back up all that effort my the teammate will be wasted

if you press DEL by accident the countdown starts and if you press it again the countdown stops right... and when you flip and press DEL again the countdown restarts back to 10 secs

( and when you change equipment you should not self-destruct you should wait to be killed instead of waiting 10 secs just to loose 5 points. and having your equipment to be changed it should change you equipment the next time you spawn.  )  just a little extra idea

Anyways, I self-destructed as I was low on health, and while the timer was counting down, the gold dropped near me! Everybody else was on the other side of the map, and I almost got the gold, but i blew up about a second too early!!!!!!!! I was so mad. :angry: This really needs to be in the game.

I agree when this kind of situation happens a cancel button for self destruct is great but it takes   10 seconds for it to happen if we press delete i think it should self destruct in half a second ;)

I was about to open a topic when I saw this thread. 

Please make it so we can abort self-destruction for all the reasons previous members posted.

Many times, good Samaritans teammates give up their time and risk their existence just to help us flip back on our tracks (I do it all the time).

It's a waste of time and points to see them self explode a few seconds later.

 

After all, most action thriller movies (i.e. James Bond) end with a self-destruction sequence only to be aborted at the very last second.   :)
