Server Questions

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am My Tiger Psy (My Tiger's Eye) and I have played Tanki for about 4 months now.  I have loved the new server tab implemented about a month ago, yet I still do not completely understand the different functions of the different servers.
As of right now, there is an EN server, a RU server, and a DE server.

Just what do these servers stand for?  Are they located in different countries and is best for me (I live in USA), to stick with a certain server to prevent lag?  I ask this because recently, I have been experiencing terrible server timeouts and connection issues.
Are these servers created associated with the different ranks?  ie: EN is for noobier players and RU is for high level players?

Any comments and explanations will be extremely helpful.  Thank you for your time.  Tanki has been a blast so far.

EN = English.

RU = Russian.

DE = German.

(Of course the English community is allowed to go on the RU and DE servers as well, they just separated the servers into these categories to help fight the problem of two foreign languages. Now, if you go on one of the EN servers, it will usually be composed of English speaking people. Now if you go on one of the RU servers... yeah...).

Hope this helped!
